Veterinarian!! Like it. My son ( big 10 year old) loves the Cat 7 and the 2018 Easton beast X. Funny thing is, he hates two piece and composite bats. His coach wants him to go to South Carolina. Cornell or Stanford. Have two Vet friends that went to Cornell.
I was down in Bergen County for their home run before the Fourth of July and they have the new bats like the cat 8 and then 2019 ghost x which looks awesome
I don’t know about the Easton alpha but I have recently buyed this and have been hitting over a 225 foot fence practicing 86 pounds 4 9 and I have hit multiple out which I have not been able to do the cat 8 is amazing

Good question. We really think the CAT 8 in a drop 8 is as good as it gets IF (and maybe a big IF) someone can swing it hard. But, good bat speed and a CAT 8 USSSA is very hard to beat.

The issue is , the general public says Man U gotta swing like Griffey, or Harper........... where do you think the swing came from? People have there own style, hand back, step on glass , start the hips, and swing the hands! It’s really that simple.!!! Your kid will go far as long as he does t listen the the keyboard!
They are in USSSA 1.15 BPF leagues. They are legal in the leagues that allow them---which is many comp/travel and rec leagues. But, Little League (capital L's) and a few others like Cal Ripken and Pony require a USA Bat---which this is not.

No, it doesn't. As long as you play USSSA or Nations travel baseball, and not LL, 1.15 got is legal

The buster Posey was just a cat 7 with a paint job so the cat 7 just didn't have that knob that's it

They are weighted at a drop 10 but usually weigh out about 8.5 ounces below. It's all about the swing weight though.
