  • This was one of the most difficult builds I have done to date. So much came defective. Bent CPU pins, corrupt bios, damaged case, sketchy power supply. In the end however, it came it pretty great.

i believe there is a film on the side panel to be removed. "prevent scratching the acrylic board"

The film is off in the completed build. The panels are listed as frosted, but it's just unpolished and finished.

Good job on not killing your friend, or taking a hammer to the PC parts... :) That case looks great from about three feet away, but closeups show it is pretty krappy. That mobo looks like it has NO cooling at all on the VRMs. The Aliexpress prices look good, but hit or miss quality control, design issues, shipping issues, potential malware, incompatible parts, and sketchy BIOS updates are headaches I can live without. Next time, please tell your friends to cruise Newegg and Amazon warehouse for their deals.

This was less of a AliExpress issue and more of a Jeffy was being to cheap. That Mobo from the manufacturers official AliExpress page has it for $10 more than he paid from a 3rd party seller. Judging by the corrupt bios and when I went to activate windows it was already activated, I would safely assume it was a used return. Jeffy wanted to save $10 and didn't pay attention to the seller. I linked him a Ryzen 3700x from a top rated eBay seller, he searched and found a sellee selling it $5 cheaper, and the seller shipped it upside down in the clam shell. The case he didn't even save money over a domestically available alternative just impulse buyed it. All of it could of been avoided if he paid attention to the seller and their rating and not looked for the cheapest price for the same item.

I hope the person you built this for gave you a good tip for the headaches lmao. That's why I NEVER order critical parts off of Aliexpress, things like fans, LED and PWM splitter boards, screws and simple replacement parts are the only type of things I order off of there.

I normally never have issues with the motherboards. The link in the description is from the official seller/manufacturer. Jeffy actually bought is for $10 less from a 3rd party, which I think was used. BIOS was corrupt, and when I went to activate windows it was already active with a digital license. So I think he found someone selling a retuned unit. Original customer probably had windows on it, but failed a bios update and didn't know how to fix it, and returned it. CPU was from ebay, I found him a top rated seller that had it for $5 more. Instead he bought it from a seller just selling their old CPU. Seller was probably just inexperienced and shipped it upside down in the clamshell. Case I never buy form AliExpress because they are rarely much cheaper and have the highest risk of damage in shipping. He could of spend the same and got a similar two chamber ITX case in the US, he ordered it anyway. This was less of an AliExpress thing, and more of a "Jeffy doesn't take the time to check the seller's reputation and only worries about a good deal, and once he wants something he will buy it even if he knows its a bad idea".

for me i have some issues with the case,i dont like the fact the gpu isnt supported properlly i got the mesh version which is WAY better and witht the riser cable and the build was fine for now.....

The issues themselves would of been acceptable if the price fit. I have no issue accepting cut corners for cheap cases, that is cheap. The issue I have is all the little cut corners and the $100+ price point. Generic Chinese case at a brand name price.

@@JordosTechShack funny thing is how is it 100 bucks?it's about 60 in the UK.im guessing it's not worth it in some places where it's way more expensive

@@is_cleetus5445 whatever listing he found, the PSU alone was $65. With the case, PSU and riser her was $165 deep. This was a build he had the parts drop shipped to me, I didn't have any oversight into what he ordered on this one.
