This team of Todd Pletcher and Mike Repole is incredible. They go back to the great Uncle Mo. but now back to back with Forte and Fierceness. And in Bafferts house in California no less. All the good horses ran well (watch out fir locked next year). Great job Fierceness
@smoggington1240 Legitimately better than Forte, but not up to Mo's level yet. Uncle Mo was next level, such a shame he got so sick during the 3YO campaign. Don't think we ever saw his best. If Fierceness stays healthy, he's definitely on his way, though, huge effort here!

Baffert has the best horse in the country. He just started him later in the year so he wasn’t in this race. The horse is an absolute freak. I haven’t seen a two year old that freakish in a long time.

@@jackwoods9604 Those two horses weren’t nearly as nice as this one. This one is world’s better. He’s the type of mover and athlete that doesn’t come along often. And he’s bred to run all day. In fact, I think he’ll improve with distance. Fierceness won’t ever catch him.

When Fierceness is on his game, he's unbeatable. He beat a really good field in this race. His Florida Derby competition is questionable but he destroyed them like he was supposed to., His Champagne race was a diaster. Has he peaked too early? A 110 beyer in Florida.
Can he handle more pace pressure at Ky. and go 1 1/4 mile?
He's the deserving favorite now. Watch how he work's at CD before the Derby. Wait for pp draw.

Remember this race heading into the Derby when they say Fierceness has never been challenged. Muth pulled up along side of him coming out of that turn and it was good bye!

I just got curious after the Derby. Fierceness just can’t string 2 good races in a row together. He laps the field and then lays an egg. I won’t be betting against him in this year’s Belmont though. And it will likely be Johnny V and Pletcher in New York. I will not be snarky about Repole this time.

Really ? Did anyone see what they did to all the wild horses with the government in California? So they can monopolize the horse racing business ? People need to start researching , they rounded them up the government did with helicopters and thousands matter of fact they wiped out all wild horses for your entertainment. So they didn’t have competition in the ring ,,,,hmmmm
