ALB, I have to thank you for helping me get through one of the most mentally difficult times in my life. I've been studying non-stop for a couple of months to pass my board exam to become a nurse anesthetist, and yesterday I finally passed. I listened to you while studying so many times because your soft spoken voice is so calming to me and it sort of counter-acted the stress. I've had my life on hold for years and years waiting to not have any academic obligations in my free time and to just live and do whatever I want. That time has FINALLY come for me, and you played a part in helping me keep my sanity to get here. So, thank you so much! Now I'll make a living putting people to sleep just like you do...just in a slightly different way haha 😁
The Kiki metaphor is so good, sometimes you just need a little break to understand who you are without that thing and then you can fall in love with it all over again :)

ohmygosh i love that you mentioned the ugly middle phase bcos i also love to talk about that awkward part in drawing/painting! sometimes its so hard for me to get through those that most of the time i have to remind myself that this is only the part where a drawing looks awkward bcos its unfinished and if i keep pushing through it until i get to putting down detail then it'll all just start coming together!! 😤
101 Dalmations is my all time favourite Disney movie! It has such a sweet visual simple beauty to it! This piece actually does remind me of Regent’s Park in cherry blossom season! I think Pongo and Perdita could be just around the corner!

I just moved to Toronto with my partner this year and he took me to see the cherry blossom trees :> hopefully next year you can make it to see them! I'm currently making dollhouse miniatures while watching this video; it's nice to craft alongside someone :3
