Your videos are amazing and very informative thanks for all this super valuable info. Learned more here than almost anywhere else lol.
100% agree Jim Carbonetti! This is the BEST comparison video i have seen in a very long time! Great Job Lucykiins! Also, you may be able to eliminate that ruffling from moisture if you give the shirt a 10 second press prior to pressing the transfer. Notice all the other ones did not have that issue because the prior presses eliminated their moisture. Thank you for posting this video!
thank you soooo much ❤️❤️❤️
i actually did pre-press the shirt before starting 🙃
✨ BEST *LIGHT* T-SHIRT TRANSFER PAPER ?! czcams.com/video/MSL2FAuoVEo/video.html ✨
Thank you very much for your thorough and honest review! Very useful information. You are AMAZING!
I've used it before on Avery and I've never had that problem back was always easy to remove
Wow!!! This is the best review video.. It helps me a lot. Thank you for this. I am not fond of watching too long youtube review video.. but on this one, I really stayed to watch the whole thing.
Wonderful job, you’ve done an excellent comparison! Thank you!❤ StarCraft it is!
YOOOOO!!! GREAT Video! for me i had tried the Avery brand previously and to me, the white background ended up like turning brown and like transparent? IDK I must have been pressing too hard or something because it didn't come out nearly as nice as your did! That's the difference between a pro and someone who just does it here and there XD.
I will definitely buy starcraft next time!
Alright Homie, that's it for today! Can't wait for whatever next video you end up cooking up!
Thank you for the video it was nice to see the compare I was thinking of doing something like this for a while to find which I like best. Most of mine look good at first but after washing some crack and wrinkle faster than others. I do use cold water however I have put them in the dryer at delicate setting. I may have to try laying them out they are just thicker cotton shirts so they could take a long time to dry.
I actually like how they're spaced out like that. Could make a cool shirt design.
@@lucykiins Hey thanks for the video! Really helping me start up my tshirt line for my drag tshirts I’m making for my merch line!
hi there! love the video! quick question, how did the papers behaved after washing the shirt many many times? I have used Avery for dark colors and after many many washes the colors of the design ironed on start to fade.... I wonder if it's because I am using hot water in the washing machine? I am curious to see what your experience is :) looking for dark colors iron on paper! thank you :)
i haven't really compared how it looks now to the original since i've only washed it a few times, but i do plan on making a video comparing how all of my shirts with transfer papers look now!
i think the fading has to do with both the paper and water temp. try to do warm water instead. even with changing the temp, i still think it'll slowly start to fade either way because of that particular paper.
Can you use transfer paper? For example on images that are print then cut?
like a transfer mask ? i'm sure you can since that's what the masks are meant for, but i'm not sure how each of these would work with them.
Thanks for this video also! Did you notice a noise issue with any of the dark transfers as you pointed out in the light transfers? I want to take that into consideration before ordering any transfers. Thanks again.
i still have and use this shirt and i don't think any of them have really stood out to me by being too noisy. i think they're all just your typical transfer noise for these 😅
I have a question. When printing letters on dark transfer do you need to cut out each letter before transferring? I'm trying to figure out how to do it if there is white space between
i think it's always best to cut out each letter. even if there's no color on that part of the transfer, i feel like the film of the transfer will always press through and it'll be textured like the rest of the transfer. i hope that makes sense lol.
So with dark transfers you can use on light shirts also? So essentially you don’t need to buy other transfers for whites or greys ect?
correct. but sometimes the light transfers work way better than the dark transfers from the same brand.
Can you connect them? Make it look like one graphic? Because I have a small printer.and only do black shirts.
yeah, just print it as a normal picture 😊 i cut it up since i was using 4 different brands.
hi can you please tell me if they make clear heat transfer paper for inkjets printers? thank you
Star craft does come in package of 10. I buy them all the time. AVERY IS VERY HARD.
I do this with PPD and it does go onto the t-shirt well. However both time i have done it i did 375 heat at 30 seconds and then second 60 second but when i have washed both of them 30 degrees, inside out - it comes off! any ideas?
the only thing i can think of is that they probably didn't have enough pressure.
have you used transfer tape with any of these? i am having an issue with using transfer tape sticking to the design and the design not ironing on. my designs often require transfer tape due to details not being connected in one piece
i've never used a mask with these, but do you let the image fully dry? that might be what's causing it. try giving it a whole day to dry 😊
Hi can u help , when I print an image that has color on it with dark transfer paper and then was the shirt later the color seems to run on the image , any ideas why ? Thanks
@@lucykiins yeah was sitting for days before I washed it and the red lettering leaked onto the rest of the image. Thanks for the reply 👍🏻
can you use a regular home ironj?
you can, but make sure it's without steam. a press will give you better results though.
Have you done a stretch test? I'd like to see how they hold up.
these aren't meant to be stretched so any major stretching will create cracks on the transfers.
@@lucykiins I feel like most prints will Crack, even from printful, but they still look almost as good when they return to shape. I'm just wondering if these start to peel in any major way, or ruin it completely.
@@lucykiins if you say this , how do you feel about a lot of other CZcamsrs saying to stretch it a little after pressed to help it last longer
you should stretch it a little after pressing, but i mean like a full on stretch. like if you hold the shirt from the sides and do a full on stretch they're gonna crack lol.
Great review! I've only used Avery and it is expensive so I will try Starcraft.
I would recommend an image that looks exactly the same throughout because I couldn’t really tell if it was the quality or the fact that the light is focused on top of the artists as opposed to the bottom. A photo where the lighting is consistent would make it more fair as well.
in person you were able to see the difference in quality between them all even though they weren't exactly the same. the cut off of the clothes is what made me see if the colors were consistent or not 🤗
How do day feel ? . Paperie or more like htv . I use ninna 3g opaque 2 and it feels nice but it has a paperie sound that I don't like.
Which was the softest? With PPD it feels so thick and stiff to me.
Can you please do a video comparing the dark transfer papers of Neenah 3G OPAQUE, NEENAH JETPRO SOFT STRETCH and Neenah Jet Opaque. Neenah is one of the top selling heat transfer papers and I’d like to see the difference between all 3, haven’t seen a video on CZcams comparing them all
i honestly don't remember 😫 but transfer papers always have a feeling to it since it is paper you know.
i actually bought 2 Neenah transfer papers, but i don't remember exactly which ones they are. the only reason i didn't use them for these comparisons was cuz i couldn't find a "light" and "dark" version. one of the ones i bought is intended for polyester shirts and i knew that wasn't what i was looking for.
How many time is it washable
each brand is different, but i don't think transfer paper survives a ton of washes.
I love you❤
I'm just going to say what I'm sure everyone is thinking.... please work on how many times you say "like". It's, like... a lot. Other than that, this is a great video! Very well done. 👏
Ladies and gentlemen, THIS is how you make a comparison video. Your attention to detail and play-by-play is outstanding! Super informative….
THANK YOU SO MUCH !!!! this is so sweet of you to say 😭😭❤️
