The night king wouldn't have anyone to kill to raise an army. He would just have some creatures like thenns and giants but not thousands and thousands of soldiers

I theorize the Free Folk were part of the Night's Watch the places where the Clans set up their homes were far outpost. But being gone for so long, in such tough areas eventually led them to forget this.
Considering the Fist of the Men, this theory might have some merits.

Finally another ASOIAF vid!
Besides the far reaches of Essos, the lands beyond the Sunset Sea, the continent of Ulthos, and the lands of southern Sothoryos, the lands beyond the Wall are the most mysterious parts of the world of A Song of Ice and Fire by far.
I'd absolutely LOVE a series based around a "New World" exploration led by Westeros into Sothoryos. All we know is that it's a horrible jungle hellscape with giant insects and dinosaurs, and tribes of savage "half men" which for all intents and purposes, are pretty similar to Orcs. Man that would be so awesome.

(10:30) Was this from the books or show? (As I thought Jon was attacked due to his actions with the Wildlings).
It was in both the books and show. In the show, it was mostly because he was making deals with the Wildlings, but in the books it was because he was gathering an army to march south against the Boltons, which broke their oath of neutrality.
In the books the deal jon makes with the wildlings is a bit more harsh but also fair. He had enemies but they didnt kill him until the pink letter and he betrayed his vows as he would have for Robb if not stopped by his friends.
