I didn't listen to this podcast because I suffered through the Phill interview and I just can't go another one with this interviewer. He just isn't suited for my ears, sorry Justin, you seem like a nice person but I can't take that laughter all the time.
But as for TJ and your comment, I saw him as a genuine and a good person but the overt display of optimism is where it seemed like a performance. I just think he isn't aware of it and shows his empathy this way which is cool but kind of why I wanted to reinforce your view, Therese. He is a good person but he also wants to show it so bad and that is where it enters into attention-seeking and this is where I think I like Phill's approach more; a kind and gentle person but in the most subtle way.
Love this talk. TJ is so positive and sincere that I think some people think he's being phony. Both of your energy is so refreshing to see and hear.
My favorite player! I think since there were other honorable people like Roland left in the game, that gave TJ at least a 50/50 shot to stay in with the bridge challenge despite being #1.

One of my favourite character in the game TJ. When some people hating him when he trying to be captain and leader. But those people hating they wont step up. But i doubt any other player more capable than TJ to be a leader. When jackie give him no.1. He doesnt even hate her. And i know jackie give to him because she really believe only TJ able to lead the group despise some player doesnt like him being on lead.
And i strongly believe if TJ able to pass 1st glass bridge, trey would not die. Because like it or not. TJ is really a leader. And in that situation he will tell ashley to move in. Even if she doesnt want to move TJ will convice everyone to follow the plan. Because that just how his personality throughout the all the game. He not only thinking of himself, he trying to be teamplayer. He want everyone to have teamwork.
That why one of the saddest moment seing he fall on 1st glass. I even think that those glass bridge is control by production. haha. But who know right. Because if 1 to 3 player success in a row, it will morally boost player spirit in teamwork. The reason why ashley become selfish and ass is simply because he seing no.1 and no.2 falling. And then trey pass give her hope. But again no.4 fall straight away and i giving her big doubt. And true or not if production control the glass bridge they will set it that way. They want player to fear and break the teamwork.
Trey is their favourite and fan favourite. They knew it and they try to keep trey or his mother to the end. But trey decided to keep jumping so they need to kill him because he simply will jump to the end. But who know right, this is just theory conspiracy. It might be true but mostly not
Yeah people sucking that snake Mia make me laugh. That girl is equal to Ashley. She never did anything to really lead. She was just loyal to Chad who she would’ve snaked out anyway.
Maybe TJ could’ve done similar but I don’t think in any part of the show he showed questionable decisions to others. I do think his “alliance” group had toxic people I didn’t like but I think he meant well and didn’t notice them.
Man TJ is just so likable man. I bet anywhere else he's loved, It just so happens that he was in an environement where everyone is only there for themselves.

TJ was genuine and people couldn’t stand that. Too good to be true yet he was entirely himself. Maybe he his personality was extra as they say, but I’d rather be around big and bold than silent and sneaky any day. Who wants boring?
I was rooting for TJ since battleship but reality comp shows is not the place for honor, leadership, nobility. You will get eaten up by the machine. Most of us saw it coming :/

TJ was hands down a good person. That’s why don’t get why people gobble up Mai. She was a snake just as Ashley thought Ashley was just a crap person in general.
Also don’t like people assuming just because TJ talked loud he was skme shit person. I do think he brought a target on his back, but I do think he meant well. I just don’t like that group he was a part of and weren’t great people to be around of. He was a legit good dude and wish he made it farther. I would take him over Mai and Ashley any day and give any of the other characters a shot.

At first I thought TJ was an insincere cornball but he really a genuine guy. Stood by his word and everything and low-key saved Mai in a REALLY crucial moment. That said, being a shining light attracts negative attention, as seen when that lady gave him No. 1 for a flimsy reason😢
