  • Full footage from a dive at Twin Dees (Weeki Wachee Springs State Park) to the Fracture and 70' habitat to inspect it for leaks. Dives were conducted under a permit issued by the State of Florida to Karst Underwater Research.

    Just wanted to comment and say that you have the slowest breathing of anyone I have ever seen. Crazy good SAC rate especially at the beginning!

      Divers conducting exploration are typically spending a significant period of time between 300-400 feet in depth. This results in long periods of decompression. These habitats permit divers to spend decompression in relative warmth/comfort, and allows for removal of rebreather mouthpiece to chat, drink, and eat if desired. We use scrubbers with PO2 monitors to help insure the breathing atmosphere in the habitats are safe and optimal for decompression.
