i love the slight open and close Roger does with the hi hat foot on 2 and 4 , the magic of these grooves is locked into the subties. Easy to miss , and beautiful when observed.

You have potential, do a drum cover other then queen, roger Taylor is not the drummer you want to devote all your time too
Maybe in the future I’ll do more Bowie, Motley Crue and Green Day
The Who, Led Zeppelin, Rush would also be great options as well. Don’t stick just to rock also, buddy rich is awesome too
It’s more with what fits in my drumming style - I fit more rock and punk but nothing too difficult and it will be difficult with artists I don’t listen to a whole lot like Rush and Buddy rich who I don’t know very well especially since I learnt from ear and by memory. The Who is always difficult to play because Keith Moon was a machine drumming god
