- In this video i'm showcasing one of my friends getting rid of his long hair that he had for a long time. He wanted to go short for summer, but didn't want to get that skinfade in. a big transformation nonetheless!
No sharp line-ups as he wasn't a fan of that either.

Great haircut beautifully cut, which really suits your friend. At his age I like buzzcuts but wasn't into skin fade type haircuts either. They definitely weren't in vogue back in the 1970s. Now in my 60s I find a skin fade useful to attract attention away from my thinning hair at the crown, combined with a #1.5 buzzed top.

If I had been sitting in his chair I'd love to have him buzz mine across the top with the #2 guard on the clippers and then razor shave the back and sides up to the height of the poridal bone area all the way around my head, a very nice and very short military recon style haircut. I would have appreciated it and really enjoyed it!
His hair is great longer, but this is a great change of look for him.

what lengths did you use on top and on the back and sides ?
The top was a 10mm (3 guard). and then downblended from a 6mm (2guard) to the lowest 1guard (3mm). to get rid of the harsh line in the neck i tapered it out from the 3 guard to clipper no guard
I hope he will regrow it back sometimes in future. :)

I'd really love to be sitting in your chair and having you give me a very nice and very very short jarhead type haircut, with the back and sides shaved up all the way a little bit higher than the poridal ridge. You see, I have a haircut fetish, I really enjoy getting my hair cut very short. I've commented on different vlogs about different types of very short haircuts, and I would really love to try them all out for awhile, but unfortunately for me that I'm disabled and it's hard to get out of the house somedays and I don't have any friends with vehicles who could possibly take me to the nearest barbershop, I've been looking for someone who could possibly come over to where I live, and give me a very nice and very very short jarhead type haircut.
