    Sir please make a detailed video on access opening and the armamentarium that you use for it. Because a good root canal starts with a good access

    Sir as you mentioned that cavit is the preferred temporary filling material as it doesn't expand when comes in contact with moisture
    But as we know and also according to grossman cavit contains calcium sulfate as one of its component which is hydrophilic in nature which allows it to absorb moisture which will led to expansion providing a superior seal

    • @Endocrisps
      @Endocrisps Před 3 lety +1

      Expansion of temporary filling provide superior seal but it can lead to premature occlusion too. This can cause pain due to constant injury.
      Cavit is one of the temporary filling material which doesn't expand much when come in contact with moisture.

    Sir , in case of space infection after AO , if closed dressing given , I have seen in many case that swelling increases , but with open dressing and continuous copious irrigation it decreases

    • @Endocrisps
      @Endocrisps Před 2 lety +1

      Yes you are right but this affects long term success of RCT.
      Open dressing are not recommended.

    This type of topics are mind openers
    Thank you
    Plz educate about a rct protocol start to finish like what you prefer on first sitting and than when u recall(after how many days no. Of days) n procedure for second sitting bmp or intracanal medicament ( whn it is needed)or do anything extra.
    Than when to obturate(do u irriagate before obturation as we have already done plenty of irriagtion on bmp day)

    • @dentalking123

      I also follow the way u use apex locator like substracting 0.5mm(whn first red bar appears) but sometimes apex locator is confusing
      Shall we follow apex loactor blindly or trust radiograph
      ( I don't use j Morita. But Chinese wood pecker (it can b d reason)
      Planning to buy a apex loactor in near future)
      As per ur tutorials I learn that closed dressing always in any case is d golden key to success.
      And one more thing iam blessed to have a teacher like you
      Thank you

      @cosmicseeker1069 Před rokem

      U need to repeat the procedure. Open the dressing,irrigate it well. Tell the patient to wait in the reception area for drainage say 45 mins as mentioned in the video. give closed dress and try broad spectrum antibiotics if necessary. Review aft two days.

      Mixing with chlorhexidine increases the substantivity of calcium hydroxide.... but decreases the pH.
      Calcium hydroxide should have alkaline pH for better results..

    Sir, I’m doing only closed dressings even in non vital teeth especially molars when there is no pus discharge.
    Though I checked apical patency, bmp till atleast 20k in all canals, patients are having pain the next day.
    My boss who is pedodontist is angry on me that why are you giving closed dressing in non vital tooth.
