Sometime owners or leadership know everything but let their junior manager do the dirty job and themselves they show as they are good. For example, here owner obviously know what his manager behavior was but he kept her on job because owner didn't had time and knew she will manage and run his business so till the time business was running as usual, he didn't bother, only once business got impacted he pitched in.
