I was looking for someone who had a feel for all the fills and would give it a fuller sound to play solo, thank you very much, great video.
Strumming pattern for the verse that he actually uses in his cover: Down chuck up down up chuck up then the next bar he starts with an up stroke instead of a down struck and then plays like the first strumming pattern. The other strumming pattern that he used on the Dm and G is: Down chuck up down chuck up.

awesome lesson very detailed. id love to know how you do those "drum like" fills when you add those burst of strums. is it like a quick down up down once or twice real fast back to back? adds alot of flash to the song. Just like the drums
