    I have long looked to the stars wondering who and what else is out there and always felt a longing to a deeper connection with the universe. The evidence that our world is being visited at this time by intelligent races from the universe is overwhelming going back to WWII. I did not find a convincing text about this topic that resonated and stirred me at a deeper level until discovering the books Life in The Universe and the Allies of Humanity Briefings by Marshal Vian Summers. I feel these texts describe the nature and intent of the extraterrestrial visitation occurring on our world and as the teaching puts it, this is not a visitation, it is an Intervention.

This is challenging stuff, people need to know. I love him so much lol. So many science communicators (and scientists) like shitting on Avi Loeb for his original Oumuamua hypothesis, which again, has never needed to be unquestionably true (this is supposed to be how science works), and nobody has ever had to believe that Oumuamua was artificial (we're just still seeing the growing pains of the scientific mainstream culture being made to do science, and respond to science, _scientifically...imagine that),_ and my dude just doesn't let it get to him.
      It's fantastic that he's found JMG's Event Horizon to be such a healthy outlet for him. I mean he really gets to come straight to the public directly here, he doesn't have to get filtered through a science media infrastructure that I keep wanting to give the benefit of the doubt, but who still, even 5 years later, continue to demonstrate that they're still failing to see what all of their problems with Avi Loeb say *exclusively about them,* not him.
      Somebody needed to take on this role, and Avi was clearly the best person for the job. There is zero doubt in my mind about that.

      Is Dr Loeb getting unscientific pushback against his approach, like Galileo? Yes, absolutely. Is he likely to be remembered by science historians of the future, like Galileo? I certainly think so. But one of the defining features of Galileo's scientific endeavors was the severe censure and punishment he was subjected to for his work. Let's make sure Dr Loeb doesn't ever experience that important parallel to Galileo!

    Fascinating. The concept of time dilation whilst travelling close to the speed of light kinda turns on its head the idea of physical space exploration, replacing it with a one-way ticket to the unknown. Such an esoteric quest would probably mean sacrificing a mental association with Earth's existence & replacing it with a SuperAI alternative reality which would form the historical resource to live a new physical existence at Destination X.

    I love Avi's optimism. When he spoke of the negative mass engine and how time dilation would effect the passengers, it reminded me of the belief that the center of our galaxy is a super black hole or a collection of black holes. Well, every sci-fi nerd knows about the time dilation effect generated by a black hole. So it occurred to me that time dilation zones could exist across our galaxy as concentric rings expanding from its center mass. Naturally, that would effect interstellar travel, so I then began to wonder if the time dilation effect of the negative mass engine and the time dilation effect of a galactic black hole would interact with each other in some calculable way, and what that might look like. 🤔

      @timd3469 Před rokem

      For fun, I asked ChatGPT:
      Negative Mass and Black Holes.
      Model: GPT-4

      Someone on CZcams asked, 'I began to wonder if the time dilation effect of a negative mass engine and the time dilation effect of a black hole would interact with each other in some calculable way, and what that might look like.' What do you think?
      The idea of a negative mass engine and its interaction with the time dilation effect of a black hole is purely speculative, as the existence of negative mass has not been demonstrated in any experimental or observational evidence thus far. Negative mass, if it were to exist, would have exotic properties that could potentially lead to interesting interactions with other massive objects like black holes.
      Time dilation is a well-established effect in general relativity. In the presence of a massive object like a black hole, time appears to slow down for an observer near the black hole as compared to an observer far away from it. This effect is due to the warping of spacetime by the massive object.
      Now, assuming the existence of negative mass and a negative mass engine, one could speculate on how it might interact with the time dilation effect of a black hole. Negative mass would have peculiar properties, such as repulsive gravity, which could lead to bizarre interactions with a black hole's spacetime curvature. In the presence of negative mass, the spacetime geometry might be further distorted, possibly leading to even stronger or weaker time dilation effects.
      However, without a proper understanding of negative mass and its properties, it is difficult to predict the exact nature of such interactions. Any conjecture about the interaction between a negative mass engine and a black hole's time dilation would be purely speculative and would require rigorous theoretical investigation or experimental evidence to support it.

    Something that a lot of people are talking about are "techno signatures" and describing various em frequency ranges and gas spectroscopy etc. I wonder whether an absence of data may be a techno signature in and of itself? If a Kardishev level 3 civilization exists and can control all available energy of it's galaxy, then it's stars will likely go dark due to dyson sphere analogue and or total consumption of the stars energy. They are likely to spread out on all directions, leaving maybe a few stars that are not worth harvesting, or for some kind of monument, or some other alien reason. I wonder whether the Bootes void could be evidence of something like that happening? I have no clue, nor academic training in this subject, but it absolutely fascinates me. Sorry for my naiveté. "Your world is a prize. It is greatly valued by others. You are unsuspecting and perhaps might assume that advanced technological races are advanced spiritually as well. But alas, this is not the case. The path of technological development, more often than not, leads away from real freedom and the true nature of spirituality as it exists in all manifest intelligent life.:

    The world should be proud to have a scientist like Dr. Loeb thinking outside the box and a source of motivation for progressive-minded people. I was wondering whether the somersault-type movement of an elongated object having an uneven surface would eventually slow down its speed while traversing in space before picking up momentum due to slingshot-type action around, say, our sun. Any comments?

    Sounds like the person who said Omuamua shows signs of being a comet when we don't looks at it is trying to borrow the same logical inconsistencies quantum physicists use, since it seems to work for them.
