The main principle involved in all well killing methods is to keep bottom hole pressure constant.
In Driller's method, the killing of a well is accomplished in two circulations
• In the first circulation, the influx is removed from the wellbore using original mud density.
• In the second circulation, the kill mud replaces the original mud and restores the primary control of the well.

this video is the most easy to understand one, explaining the methode with simple way. Thanks Sir.
Thanks a lot for getting easy for everyone 👍.
Well done Mr Ajay, this is one of the good presentations that I have seen. I like it, thank you.
Nice presentation easy way to understand drillers method.
Good Explaining 👍
Wonderful explanation
Good job sir god bless you
Thank you, great video with good schematics and questions in between to recheck the understanding.
What will happen if kick was detected slightly late and say SIDPP, SICP were higher? Does it mean more time will be required to take the influx out? Does it mean that while using Drillers method, higher strokes of pump will be required to counter the higher pressures? Does the Driller method application vary, if the kick was due to Oil or purely a Gas Kick?
Also, maybe explanation can be added that in parallel, Kill Mud weight can be determined and Kill Mud can be prepared. This is simply calculated by SIDPP + known MW prior to the Kick.
Good job Sir.. Very helpful
Thanks, useful video
Sir vijay please upload a video for wait and wait and volumetric method
Very perfect explanation for driller method belive me I am very impressed from your knowledge and the way of teaching 👍
Thanks dear but my name is Ajay Verma
Hey Zeeshan
Are you interested in iadc certifide well control simulator?
Im from an organisation which provides well control training with iadc approved certificates
We have free courses as well as paid courses
Best video
Nice explanation, but isnt the Stroke rate and Stroke Counter mixed up here?
How kill speed of pump is calculated e.g 30 SPM? Video reference 4:56 min.
How to decide ICP?
Ajay sir,
Please make a videos on the subsea well control
If we keep pressure constant by open the choke , How we know influx has been circulated to surface or not?
Or is it fine letting pressure annulus going up without controlling it with choke to know the influx has been circulated?
Sry for bad english
You know when influx is circulated out basing on comparing SICP and SIDP after shutting the well when 1st circulation is finished. Once the well is shutt in and SICP=SIDP, means influx has been completely circulated out. If SICP is greater than SIDP, that's mean that there is still influx in Annulus. Your second question- you need to keep Bottom Hole Pressure constant all the time. You don't if you let Annulus pressure go up- in this case there is a risk of damaging formation.
Hello i saw your comment where you said you were installing green meter , is there any way i can contact you?
