Being a former Londoner living in the US for nearly 24 yrs! .. And imremember yrs back used to see a lady at a Bus stop quite regular) Well one day she started talking to me& she was originally from Belize ( when it was called Brit Honduras) and she said they enjoyed having the R.M Garrison there,because they kept the peace with the neighbors,provided a Emergency Ambulance service with their Helicopters & of course spent plenty of money in the local Town's Business( even employing some of the locals) But be careful of the local seductress,u never know what's around the corner!

I was there in October for the first time and stayed in regent street, in belize city right near the swing bridge. Beautiful place, beautiful people! I will be going back in March.It was a real pleasure to watch a fellow londoner mixing with locals and keeping it real!
