Little Easter Egg coming up in the Rebel PRO Video! Stay Tuned!🤔
Crazy how the speed Volume blanked out ! We know it’s only 199.9 ! Great job guys. Good build Jonathan. Great paint Jeremy. ! Great class of guys in the hobby !!
Thanks! Yea there was issues with the sound track I think.
WOW!!! She is scary fast! Hats off to Patrick for handling that flame out like a pro. Hell of a maiden and one hell of a plane!!!
They did a great job!!! Thanks for watching!
Hell of a maiden, and that second flight was a perfect demo of how one should fly turbine jets!
Awesome
Agreed! Both very well done and what an aircraft!!!
Nice project and great build tutorial series of videos. I built a Super Bandit way back in 2010. And flew it last week. Even 15 years later it still makes the crowd stop to look. These are very special models that not only perform amazingly well, but are built to last. The owner should be very happy, as it’s a bit of an exclusive club.
Very well said! Timeless is what comes to my mind! Thanks for watching the series!
I like the communication between David and Kokomo for the trim flight good stuff
Great Team for getting it all setup quickly!
I trim my own planes lol. Nice build lighter 👌
Thanks ✌
Strange those audio cut-outs every time it called out 199mph ^^. Great vid, great jet.
Modern telemetry systems take off the edge so much. Knowing fuel level and airspeed on approach is such a game changer.
Last time I flew a jet model (edf) was almost three decades ago with a 35MHz system ^^.
Yea. Odd audio file problems. The tech and telemetry can be very helpful!
WOW! That thing is a time machine - SUPER FAST. I liked the dialog during the 1st flight with Koko and David. They make a good team. Great Job on the build Jonathan. 👍
Thank you Sal!
Jonathan did the auto-restart kick in? Looks like engine was back online when he landed. Koko and David work very well together. Great comms throughout the flight.
Yes it restarted very quickly and he had power/control when it landed.
Amazing Build congratulations on another great Jet 🚀🚀🙏🏻
Thank you so much 👍
Great flying on a well made jet! Congratulations all around!!
Thanks a lot!
very professional maiden flight, well done to the pilot. Excellent landing.
Agreed! Thanks for watching!
After watching the build videos was anxious to see it fly....certainly wasn't disappointed. Highest levels of achievement in building and working the sticks. Thank you for posting.!!
Thanks Mark!
Reminds me of a line in Days of Thunder. Harry, I’m not going faster, their all going slower. 😂
HAHA! Well Said Kelly!
I was nervous just watching that :-)
😂😂
Damn! That is a small plane for that turbine 😮 i would have guesed 60/80 turbine size for it 😂
HAHA! ZOOM ZOOM!
Great job again Jonathan and the team flying there, find what makes that flameout !
We thought it was Air in the UAT Filter but it seemed to be a common thing on both 195's in the SB and Rebel Pro.
@@thelightersideofrchope to find out soon and share the reason. Only one flame out on my belt and due to lack of fuel on the Bull first flight….
Nice flying airplane. Well done!
Thanks a lot!
Congratulations! Awesome!
Thank you!!
Totally awesome.
Thanks for watching!
That takeoff roll was crazy fast!
👹🙌
Xicoy is crazy fast for sure!
@@victorrcjets7660 YES!
Looks like a great flier. Nicely done!
Thanks 👍. Was a fun project!
That's how speed test ... 👌 👏
Yes 👍
Whaha. I love the way you mute the sound after “warning high speed”. Now I am curious what the speed announcements was during the mute. 😜
Nice jet!
Good question! 😊
I see yall also have RC Jet Jockeys that wear serious two-tone polo shirts and have Ice Man haircuts. 😂 We need more of Goose but good thing Iceman was at the sticks during the flameout. lol
HAHA. Thanks for watching! More Maverick and Goose!!!!
Makes a difference with the doors compared to the flash top end looks good.
Thanks Wayne. Any the SB is a much smaller and sleeker aircraft.
Man that thing hussles and then some must be doing 97ygiuygivgvyv an hour. Good catch on the Flame out but really not much of a drama had plenty of momentum. An absolute hoot. Flame out why, what and when. Darn fine job you Fella,s and nicely built Jonathan keep at it. ;0}
Thanks!!!! Seems like it was a 195 issue. Rebel Pro had the same thing.
Awesome video editing …. What was all the “Warnings” and bleeps 🤫.. Thank you Jonathan .. it’s an Amazing Super Bandit 🚀🚀
Seems like there was some audio issues on the recording 🧐. Thanks David!
😂
It's 350 Kmh/ 200mph😉
Any findings to both the flameout of the bandit and rebel? That’s two airplanes with flameouts in the first two flights with identical turbines. I have a 195 and am curious.
Not sure. Investigating still.
YES!!!! Not much more to say......
HAHA! 🙌
holy crap that guy is crazy good flying that jet is a streak of speed why did it have flame out
Great pilot! Not sure why.
What was the top speed during the second flight. That thing is ballistic! Very impressive flying, and the restart was super cool, I did not know that a turbine could do that.
It’s definitely a cool feature that’s helpful in certain scenarios.
What a ripper. The landing was so sweet. How twitchy do you calibrate the controls?
She's a beauty of an aircraft! Controls are set from previous aircraft the owner has had. More than stock settings from plans.
what happens in the desert stays in the desert!
😎
how anyone can fly that thing is beyond me wow i hope the guy who owns can fly it
Absolutely! He has owned and owns many of them!
Homesick Angel!
😎
Tell them to mute the transmitter volume if they are going to fly over 199.99 mph.
Not on Maiden. All the data and feedback was helpful. Pitot tube was setup to limit throttle/speed.
I see you were muting the speed, probably not AMA legal
must have been some audio issues with the mic track.
@@thelightersideofrc Ya everytime the speed was going to be read it went to mute , what was the top speed on it
@@Mikeylikesit1968 Pitot Tube limits speed/throttle to 190's.
The Super Bandit is the best flying jet I've flown. Never mind the speed - it just flies on rails. Great to see one back in the air.
Couldn't agree more!
HAHA.... They muted the sound every time the radio called out over 200mph!
Thanks for watching!
@@thelightersideofrc I love your channel and I watch all your videos been watching for years. Hope to meet you one day.
How fast will it go?
Not sure but, in Canada where we don't have any speed limits I think it can achieve 325 MPH
Any idea why it flamed out?
Not sure.
This is woerd to me its kinda like racecars....commission the build (goes by David jet guy) and then have other pilots fly it. Maybe it's just to Mae sure it's all good...but nope I'm doing my planes maiden for sure.
It's just the process for the builds and maidens. Koko does the maiden and then Jetguy flies the pants off it!
What was the top speed?
Pitot Tube limits speed to 190's
@@thelightersideofrc 190 what?
Different owner, different pilots. Never understood this, more money than skill?
Not at all! There is lots about this aircarft and the relationships that you don't understand.
@@thelightersideofrccare to explain so that we, the non-psychics, understand? I mean, I fly as well for the last 20 years and the only times that someone else maidens another person’s plane is due to skill (and nerves).
@nauttyuk in your world it may work like that. Not in everyone’s.
@@thelightersideofrc fair enough even though still no straight answer. Fyi I live in the real world, don’t know about you though
@nauttyuk The owner of the plane has a way he likes to do things. He and Koko have been working together on models for a long time. David has more than enough skill to fly the plane. He is a very accomplished pilot. This plane holds a lot of nostalgia for the owner and pilots.
Too slow for my taste 🤪
😂
