The fivefold ministry is the metaphor of the body of Christ. The apostles are the head of God's leadership. The prophets are God's mouth piece or voice to declare the revelation of God. The Evangelists are God's arms and hands (outreach in revival and salvation). The pastors are the legs and feet of God (guidance and protection to the sheep of Jesus). Teachers are the very foundation of what Christianity is built on. Teachers teach biblical fundamentals that anchor the life of the Christian believer in every season when listened to and applied while pastors oversee the growth through biblical guidance and correction.
