Partea a doua a confruntarii, in lemn mai mai mare si cu muffler mod la ambele, aceeai sina si acelasi lant, pentru conditii cat mai egale.
Vorbind despre performanta, avand in vedere ca G660 este o copie chinezeasca dupa MS660, pot spune ca este impresionanta. Nu e ceva usor sa fii langa MS661C ca performanta, mai ales ca varianta M-Tronic a lui 661 este mai rapida decat cea cu carburator clasic.
Despre calitate pot spune ca nu satisface un impatimit al drujbelor, deocamdata nu sunt multumit de carburator, care face probleme, ceva normal la o chinezarie ==))) - Věda a technologie

I had been using a Stihl chain that I had sharpened several times (sometimes at a shop, sometimes with my own electric chain sharpener), and there's no comparison -- the new chain cuts much better and holds its edge longer. We'll see how the new chain holds up when it needs sharpening, but for now I'm happy.

How is the huztl 660 holding up today??? Seriously considering grabbing one and replacing all the known failure prone stuff and modding it. Sure is a hell of a lot cheaper than an OEM 066/ 660. Thanks for the video!

@@poparamiro Thanks for the quick reply. Did you get yours as a kit, or buy the powerhead already assembled??? I know there is a few parts that should be replaced with OEM Stihl stuff, just trying to get an idea. I'm thinking of pulling the trigger and getting one. Probably a better option longevity wise to buy the "kit" and assemble myself knowing that it's done correctly. I repair and modify saws for myself and for others, so it wouldn't be something "foreign" to me. What is your thoughts on this? Thanks.
@@psavel274 i buyed the assembled one, change the spark plug , decomp, pull cord, fuel filter.... i think is a good ideea to buy the kit, a lot more fun also...
Thanks again bro... yeah I agree, the idea of assembling it myself seems like the way to go. Really no difference in pulling apart a non-running saw and putting a cylinder or piston/ rings in. Leaning towards the g444 because I love the 044/ 440. Its incredibly hard to find a good one that isn't smoked and in need of a rebuild anyways. Wonder if huztl or farmertec has them in stock currently? HL Supply is probably who I would try to purchase from. They have good customer service, and I would assume I would receive the kit faster this way rather than waiting for it to travel through customs from China. Thoughts?

Thanks for the reply dude! As much of a hardcore Stihl guy I am, I love me a few Husky's as well. Really considering between the Huztl 372 and the 660. I already own a bunch of great Stihl's and have also had the benefit of running and building a bunch of other kickass saws, but I feel like I need to own at least one of these china saws I can put through its paces. Any experience with these two saws in they're China form would be greatly appreciated! I'm going to check out some stuff on the Interwebz and see what I come up with.

Greetings from croatia. I want to buy this chainsaw, but 90ccm is too much for me. I need it only to cut firewood. Do you know if there is any smaller holzfforma ? Maybe holzfforma with 50ccm or 60ccm and 3.2 or more hp.
If there is, can you tell me which copy of stihl it is and the price. I am really interested, because here in croatia we work for 500 euros monthly, so i can not afford to buy expensive like echo, stihl or husqvarna

Not much difference in cutting time, but the G660 is at least one-fourth the price of the MS661.

Max engine speed on the g660 was set lower ... 1000 rpm I'd guess ... turn up RPM on G660 to the same as Stihl then no difference ... the ash tree was not all that much of a challenge ... the main difference was chain speed due to lower max RPM on G660
~13000rpm on g660, ~13300rpm on g444 and ~ 12500rpm on g388

bought the MS200T kit in february wich arrived just in time for the first lockdown
after about 10 hours of unpacking, cleaning(that step is extremely important for these) and troubleshooting I got it up and running
some of that time went in to getting the squish right, had to sand the cylinder quite a bit even with gasket delete
naturally everything is tightened according to stihl specification
I put a Factory Service Manual with all the torque specs and stuff on Arboristsite.com
I'm quite happy with that little beast, loads of power in a small package, makes work fun^^
also I did put a big bore cylinder in my G660, much stronger now, propably also cuz the squish is just right even with a gasket.
@@nathanwest2304 ive been on the lookout for a top handle saw for awhile now ...missed a couple of good deals used they get snatched up instantly used around here... might look into one of these knockoffs especially with stihls quality decline as of late these are more and more appealing

im pretty sure the 660 in this video is a knockoff chinese clone of the 661 so the comparison is legit

That's a 5-10 year old design (661) vs an almost 30 year old design. (066) Not really apples to apples but definitely an interesting comparison though. The first version of the 066 I ever used said "Made in West Germany" on the bottom of it. That's old!
G660 doesn’t even sound like it’s tuned properly.
