  • Dosage calculations made incredibly easy for nursing students. This video shows how to set-up and work IV drip rate calculations with gtt/min factors. I use dimensional analysis to solve these drip factor problems. In nursing school, you will be required to learn dosage and calculations and these are problems you will have to solve.

I just have to leave you one more comment today. I have been studying calculation books for the last 3 days. I have to take a serious drug math test in the next 4 days. I just concluded I'm only going to study your videos because how clear and easy you make things. I wasted a lot of time trying to figure out different methods that just don't click with the way my brain thinks. I wasted a lot of time. Thank you for not wasting my time and thank you for for giving me confidence. I feel less pressure about that test. Sarah, your talent is teaching! Thanks for helping me.

In my culture we call every female that has rescued or stood by you through difficult times or hardship "mama" That doesn't mean anything to do with kids or old. So I will use that phrase to say this. Mama without you honestly wouldn't be thinking of level 3 of nursing school. You pour your heart love and care in this, let me tell you I woke up one day to do an exam with no Idea what to differentiate heart failure, I drive 2 hrs. to school and in 2hrs I was able to listen to you and when that test came with 12 questions on heart failure I was looking for your voice on multiple choice. You have walked me through each and every topic of my nursing school and here is to you as we begin level 3 with dosage calculation. If God every walks around houses in darkness and sprinkle blessings on houses, may he never pass yours. We are here till that day we sit for NCLEX and I will tell you after that 48hrs that we passed.

This lock down in general, access to lessons became quite more difficult unlike previous face to face classes, I am sure your videos are truly appreciated by mostly everyone due to the quality of content that you get to supply us audience, I hope you, your loved ones and all of us stay safe amidst the pandemic and may Godbless us.

Thank you for helping! I've used this in practice bc we ran out of blood during during covid. We had to use gravity gtt blood tubing only. They gave us a chart that I did not understand, this makes much more sense since I can directly calculate it using math and a drip factor.

I just want to thank you so very much for all of the videos you have made through the years. Because of the stay at home mandate I am now taking my nursing courses online. Big Change!! Especially when we are doing clinicals using simulations to do so. Plus IV therapy online!! Your videos have helped me immensely!! I have a medication exam (online) this coming week and watching your videos on gtt/min and IV infusion I feel like I understand it. Our instructor has had some online chat classes to help us understand the math, but oh my gosh, it was like Greek to me!! Thank you for making it understandable... I watched your videos before the stay at home but now I am watching them even more!!! Btw.... I am 51 years old, Nursing school is difficult enough in class let alone behind a computer, lol....
Congratulations on the baby!! God bless you so very much!!
