Today we've got an incredible fall haul that I'm so excited to share with you :) I not only show all the incredible gems that I picked up, but I also share how I'll be styling and wearing these pieces to hopefully give you guys some fun new outfit inspo too! 🧡
Question of the day: What is the coolest thing that you've thrifted lately?? 🍂
Coolest thing I thrifted lately was just last Saturday; I found an emerald green velvet blazer that someone extended by sewing on black, sheer fabric to its bottom seam, then embroidering an intricate green and red floral design at the bottom of the sheer piece. It reaches halfway down my calves, but it's absolutely stunning and ridiculously comfortable. I can't wait to style it this winter and hear my students' comments.
I just got the cutest velvet wrap top with an asian swan pattern that's so pretty!!

You found such amazing pieces, but my favorite has to be the brown suede coat since I love 60s/70s fashion 😅 But everything you found looks fantastic!

I am chuckling! One of my smaller pet peeves in life, is that so many people don’t realize that you should ALWAYS put your top sheet with the wrong side up! Yes, you can fold over the top sheet so that you see the strip of the right side (pattered or colored side of the sheet) folded down over the blanket,quilt or comforter that way! But, just as importantly…when you get into the bed, you are now lying between the “right” sides of the top sheet as well as the bottom sheet-tucking yourself into the lovely sheets! You don’t see the wrong side of the sheet at all as it is covered by the top bedding such as blanket or quilt.
This has to be your best thrifted haul ever - luv it all🇬🇧

This thrift haul + styling was SO good…I watched it twice! 🎉❤ I’m a shortie too and I can’t believe you found all those pants in petite! My best thrift find so far this Fall has been a practically new, dark chocolate brown leather coat that is buttery soft 😱🤎 literally can’t believe how many great coats can be found at the thrift!

Everything you got was amazing. Those leather pants, the coats, ...whew! I've always known about the sheet trick, but here's something I did recently: in my guest bedroom I have a double bed (it's a special bed). Finding bedding is not that easy. I'd thrifted a duvet cover for a twin bed that was basically perfect, so I thought, I'll just fold it at the end of the bed, it'll be fine. I had to scour Target for a twin comforter--I got one on sale in the kids' section. Anyway, I laid the duvet on the bed sideways, so it hangs down on the sides (the bed has long legs), but there's space at the head of the bed for pretty pillows. It really works with the antique design of the bed--I only needed to tuck a bit of the duvet behind the footboard instead of cramming a bunch of extra fabric behind it.
OK so when you said this was your best thrift haul yet I thought you might be saying it for the title but OMGOOOOOD. those artizia leather trousers was what sold me, PLUS you got those pants in petite? That's crazy. I love this haul and am so jealous!

The good thing about being petite: you can pick up things that most of us can't fit into and also thrift the kids' section occasionally. The good thing about being tall, like me: I can wear men's clothes and look chic :)
