There's some music out there that's quite profound. But this band - and this song maybe most of all - is pure poetry. Not just in the lyrics (which are absolutely chilling), but all the instrumentation. All the instruments have their own distinct part, not mimicking each other, each adding a layer that makes the masterpiece at times feel overwhelming with rhythmic choices, and other times simply serene. The contrast of each instrument (vocals included here), and the contrast between the verse and the chorus, really add a weight to the other parts. This is stunning. Truly beautiful. And, as the consensus seems... mindblowing live.
