- Here are three things that I’d like to see in may or may not be coming to see if thieves in the year 2024 🏴☠️

Tavern Music- Tabeltop RPG Music
Lord of Dance- Adriel Fair - Hry
They should add a shrouded ghost😂
The captaincy progression idea sounds good but when you really think about it, it gives experienced players an advantage and discourages new players, which is something the developers have been against since the beginning
I wish every ship type has tree ship options:
1- attack ship (faster, but sinks faster)
2- defense ship (slower, but sinks slower)
3- normal ship (the ship we already have)
Maybe you could like mix them too, so it doesn’t end up just looking the same
That’s literally why there’s 3 different ship types already lol
I feel like I want the ship customization but not in
A way of making someone
Better by being a higher level.
Exactly, It'd mainly be for aesthetics, But could perhaps sacrifice some perks, Like putting big glass windows on the back of the sloop, This makes it fancy and heck, But you cannot have a rowboat now.
@@user-pt5xc1pp4z it would have to be up stars and you can’t pay for it in game because then everyone would be not the same which is sea of thieves in my mind
I am gonna be shocked if we dont have a melee or hybrid melee/ranged weapon. For example an axe/hatchet that would have similar stats to the sword but instead of right clicking for a sword lunge it would throw the weapon. Another thing i really want is a pepperbox rifle/pistol, basically a pistol/rifle with multiple barrels that fire rounds one after the other. For example a counterpart to the blunderbuss that fires 10 rounds over the course of 1-2 seconds, dealing the same damage but over a longer peroid of time with higher range.
now i could get behind that for sure ive seen pepperbox pistols before and oh man would that completely change how people play the game
Add hunters call tall tales, you have to fight agaist a white giant sperm whale in the Red Seas (Moby-Dick), a Giant Snake in the Ancient Isles (Basilisk), hunt warthogs and a mission to rescue a golden chicken.
They should add more life to the sea, like some variations of sharks (Hammershark, tiger shark and more)
Give the Hunters Call the merchants catch animals quests, and allow us to hunt sharks and Megs, or kraken. Why not shark packs? Why not Siren hunting? Grab fish eggs at the sea floor?
We’re you defend your own fortress the more time defended the more money you get! And if you sink a ship it goes to your treasury! Who else agree! 👍
I hope they do add ship customization
honestly instead of ship customization that changes stats i think they should add ships like man o war that adds more and better firepower but decreases speed but it would keep 2-4 crew size for 3 ships or a viking longship that focuses on speed and maneuverability at the cost of defense that can be unlocked with commedations
I would really like a galleon with one less cannon, but a rostrum in the front to ram other ships with
We also need rowboat accessory customization/swap at the shipwright!
HOLY SHIT bro yea the Meg carcass idea is amazing
Well I agree with most, I disagree with the sails. Allowing to add more sails disrupts your outline, making it harder to determine between Sloop, Brig and Galley. Also what would stop players from just buying a sloop and turning it into a Brig/galley (and vice versa) therefore eliminating the grind to buy those. Also adding effects to them would severely hinder new players and make the game extremely top heavy (meaning the top percentage of players destroy the bottom, therefore killinh video game growth.)
However, with ship customization I agree as long as you can tell the add ons are just that, add ons. Like how you can tell a ship is a skeleton ship from the wood pieces add ed on. Something like that.
Hear me out. Whirlpools. I want a bit more of a risk with sailing
agree 100%
its just gonna be one more annoyance on the seas like the storm, no risk
@@luminaaaaa Ah but they would be more of a threat. They’d be harder to see and if you get to the center it could fill your ship with holes with rocks at the bottom. It could make the crows nest used more so you could see it. It would randomly form on a square of open ocean too so you can’t just ignore it
i disagree with the backsails idea etc just because more levelled players having such a big advantage discourages new players
I hate how people always say this when it comes to sea of thieves advantages in the game would discourage new players if they are reasonably easy to get I think it could encourage new players to play to eventually get the advantage but the again sot still doesn’t have really any feature like that
@@itslyz5541I agree plus it would add more progression to the game
I reallly want them to add more “ dangers “ to the water like just one new type of fish or monster yk. Krakens are soooooo easy to kill 😂 they never even hit me, and I’m soloing a sloop 4 shotting them it’s dumb. And megaladons never even attack they just circle me then like end up leaving
More Ship Customization would be amazing, You could design your ship with certain features and vibes, Wanna go full Bilge Rat? Then rotted planks, patched sailed, crooked mast, but it works! Or perhaps something much more refined and aristocratic? Then large way more detailed sails, And large glass windows for the back of the Sloop but this sacrifices the ability to have rowboat.
I like the added sails idea aesthetically, but giving experienced players objectively superior game mechanics is a bad idea in a PvP setting.
If the additional sails were purely cosmetic, I'm be 100% on board with the idea. We need more ship aesthetics. Give me Chinese junk sail and hull styles, additional sails for progressed captaincy like you suggested, boat curses to resemble skeleton ships and ghost ships! We got a peek at a ship ghost curse with the Monkey Island tall tales, why not let it be an equippable reward for Guardians 200 or something?
You’ve hit the nail right on the head. I hadn’t fully fleshed out the idea. And the person who drew up those charts for the sail concepts had them tied to a company not in the game. Ergo tying it to captaincy. Yes perhaps removing sailing perks and just making it strictly cosmetic would probably be for the best. And as for the ship curse cosmetics that’s an incredible thought! Thank you for the comment🫡👍
It's a double barrel pistol and throwing knive I herd
laughs at insider
As cool as the idea with the sails sound, Rere will never do it. As it would change balance way too much on an open sea. It is one thing when they relies a fraction to which you can sell all the loot in a way shorter amount of time, but still you need to stop at the spot and take this time to sell it all. Those sails would clearly give the edge to the "veteran" players, where Rare is trying to give everyone the same tools to play in their sandbox as long as you know where to look for them.
Why not be able to buy your own private island, build up your own fortress (or even outpost?)
Yea and you can like build a fort and save it and when you leave the game the island can be claimed by someone else and whenever you clam it you can load your fort
the sails is intresting - but it must have drawbacks aswell - maybe more sails the longer you need to raise ect. - a sail cannon-shot would be viable for that - but you are faster ect :D
We need the cusomization bonus that Disney Infinity Pirates of the Carribean
I feel like throwing knives should be in game
Which eye of reach are you using
In the beginning I’m using the rouge sea dog eye of reach and when I’m on the skelly gally I’m using the splash fight eye of reach but that one was time limited for season 7
great idea
0:35 what sails are those?
the black pearl sails, you can buy them from the emporium
11:07 whats that compass name?
It’s called the compass of nuanced navigation. Only way to get it through was to earn it as a reward during Season Ten by reaching Renown Level 20 so its time limited
@@captainclassic the one season I missed 😅
well, thanks for telling me at least
nothing makes sence to me in this game
welcome to the club
My biggest problem is the player base is so boring. It’s a pvp game and everyone just wants to sail around doing pve. So stupid
No it's both pvp and pve and what you might find stupid others find fun
Current crew limit:
Sloop: 2
Brig: 3
Galleon: 4
What they should do:
Sloop: 2
Brig: 4
Galleon: 6
It’s annoying when you have more than 4 friends that can’t join you.
Yep, Each ship can have way more in crew, But let's give sloop 3, But also, More players means less ships, Unless they modify/upgrade the servers and their capacity.
@@user-pt5xc1pp4z Sloop can stay as two because of server crashing and limits to ships on the server. Plus ist just tidy going up in twos for crew slots.
@@user-pt5xc1pp4z And yea maybe they can
Upgrade the server limit but I don’t think they will.
