This entire soundtrack is full of underrated Em songs.
The whole soundtrack itself is gold, i still have it on repeat.
Em's really good at composing Soundtracks.

My favorite thing about Em and Royce is how easily they can jump in and out with each other. I canât think of any other guys that do that so well.
EL-P and Killer Mike in Run the Jewels come to mind to me, but your right in it being a very rare skill and Em and Royce are a masterclass in it.

Royce and Em are crazy when they get together in general. On his own, Royce is good... Not great, and certainly nothing amazing. But he has a competitive energy and he feeds off of the energy of whoever he's working with, and it's crazy. Slaughterhouse demonstrates that so well. Individually, I think all three of the group are better lyricists in their solo endeavors. But, as a group, Royce obviously feeds on that energy and is CLEARLY the flagship, Typically, Em washes or overshadows anyone he's ever been on a track with, with ease. The only two exceptions I've ever seen. One was Lil Wayne not necessarily "beating" or "losing to" him, cuz he took a completely different approach by utilizing powerful slow flows that were just undeniably hard bars. But anybody that has ever tried keeping up cadence, speed, and delivery has stood absolutely no chance, except Royce.
The âdiss a peerâ line was nasty

He can rap a paragraph long bar where he is straight scheming the whole time, making the whole paragraph bar a double meaning, while rapping in between sandwiching metaphors, similes, double/triple entendres, and creates unique flows while doing it. Itâs mind blowing once you catch on and finally realize what he is doing. Itâs just straight genius.

Hey Cliff! Once again, a great reaction. I like that you donât use lyrics, but Bad Meets Evil is a tough one! So, you were still doing the âtrashâ album, Revival. I only mention it because Iâm waiting for you to get to Bad Husband and Untouchable. Untouchable really needs the video because he keeps changing the point of view and it can get confusing. Bad Husband is really deep for those he keep up with Emâs life over the years. Another track I like from MTMB that is often skipped over is âLeaving Heavenâ which is the only place he mentions his fathers death a few years ago. I found that and bad husband to be cathartic, and Iâm interested in getting your take on it.
