It's amazing how Jax adapts to every new adversary. It's like he absorbs everything from them and uses his new skills to vanquish all his enemies. A master strategist that continues to level up. Reminds me of Heisenberg.
Pope and Jax's relationship is so interesting, it's like Pope decided to take him under his wing to teach him and that is shown throughout the season. I think Pope genuinely likes Jax.
I had the same thought. He seems to see something in Jax. I could imagine if they had crossed paths under different circumstances, they could have had a real mentor relationship.
I really wished that story arch had lasted longer because I really like Pope as an antagonist. His character building makes him a top 3 bad guy in this series, for me. Stahl and Clay are up there with him for me. I really love to hate them, they make great villains. Gemma on the other hand... just makes me sick.
Jax is such a great character. The loving husband, devoted father, brother to his club, brutal warrior, savvy criminal, and when needed, a bloodthirsty savage. Charlie Hunnam did such an amazing job with this part. I have a lot of health problems and am waiting for a transplant. I enjoy your videos. It helps take my mind off how bad I feel. I love that you guys are watching my favorite show that I've ever watched. Thank you for the entertainment.
Clay is a more complicated character than some people give him credit. His relationship with Juice is one of the best parts of the second half of the show.
Pure manipulation. Clay burned his bridge with one foster son, decided to replace him. Great acting from Juices actor, 100% but this doesn't redeem Clay at all

I like clays bond with juice too. As opportunistic as clay is. I believe those moments were genuine having finished the show. It was like the last corner of Brotherhood in clays life
To get where popes at he had to have gotten through everything max is currently going through or had gone through. Betrayal, losing friends, losing family. There’s a reason he’s so calm and knowledgeable about everything.
Watching your reactions of how brutal Jax is awesome. Like he said a couple episodes ago. A part of him died when Ope died. This is the evolution of that. His brutality is just beginning to show. We thought Clay was brutal. Jax makes him look like a saint.

Jax is not a stone cold killer at all.... He feels every kill, which breaks him more and more. Thats the whole point of his character...that this life is tearing him up inside. Which is why his father wanted to get them out of crime to prevent jax from having to live like that. Pope is a stone cold killer, he feels nothing and thrives in his position. Same for clay he doesn't feel anything for his victims. Jax is different, every kill, kills a little of himself which is why he becomes colder and more violent with every seasons. Every time Jax kills, he dies a little on the inside. Which means he is not a "stone cold" killer. That would be Pope.
Eh, you could make the case that Pope isn't as "stone cold". The only reason we got introduced to him is because Tig killed his daughter. "Feel my pain". He has the same motivations as Jax at times. Protect his family, maintain his position, revenge by any means.. Jax killed an innocent woman (the COs wife) out of spite and called it collateral damage.. just like Pope did. It's just Jax is the main character so no one bats an eye when he does something wrong. He may feel bad but it still does the bad stuff. How are him and Pope all that different?
Love the Vikings throwback term. Blood Eagle!!! Damn, Vikings was such a great show. Vikings and SOA are my two favorite shows. I always kind of thought that SOA was like a modern day Vikings. Maybe it's because Jax and Ragnar look so much alike. Either way. Both are great shows.

A great attention to detail during the scene when Jax confronts Jemma in the hospital about the accident, is hearing the heart rate monitor speeding up for a few seconds when she's piggybacking off the lie Clay told Jax about the van supposedly showing up. A clear indication she is lying because she's obviously nervous, then her heart rate going back to normal when Jax believes her. I only just noticed this watching ya'lls reaction
Tara is such a good mom to the boys. I love that she embraced Abel as her own. I would've beaten the crap out of Gemma for endangering my babies like that. No excuses.

Imo Gemma could’ve been legitimately run off the road but they still would’ve run tox. She would’ve been arrested for child endangerment and dui etc for sure. My sis was on Percocet for a legit injury…it snowballed into an addiction. She was cut off and went off the road into a pole. With three kids in her car. She had no record and spent time in jail and years on probation. Didn’t matter why she went off the road, she was still high. Fortunately for us she was scared straight,got sober and healthy. And all the babies walked away okay. 💜
In terms of outright evilness, Stahl takes the 🎂 as far as who I like as a villain, Pope. As far as who I would be the most afraid of, definitely Clay ☠️

There are so many reasons why I hate Gemma...and once in a while admire her (her strength at times and she will do anything for her family, but she's so bad about how she does it). She's shsdy as heck and I cannt help but feel she got a lot of shady being influenced by Clay for so long enough to go in with him on so many devious actions. I love Nero... he's tried so hard to be legit and take care of his son. My favorites are Chibbs, Tig, and Bobby.
14:55 Yeah you'd think. One time this dude took the curb outside my house too fast and wiped out my concrete mailbox and half my fence. My and my neighbor's fences have been wiped out 5 times now due to people losing control on the curve that really isn't all that bad. When it got wiped out I went out there, I was able to smell beer on him from 10 feet away. Cops got there and I'm like "yo dude reeks of beer" they never gave him a breathalyzer or made him do the sobriety tests, I still have zero clue why other than maybe the cop possibly knew him or someone he knows.
I don't know what Steven's problem is with Nero. The guy has proven time and time again that he's a good, honest, solid guy who is always there for everyone. What the fuck else do you want from him? Damn.
I know I get being sketchy the first couple episodes but Nero has more than proven he’s not shady he’s been nothing but honest and real with them. He’s a real OG.

Crazy thing about SOA, as great as it is in acting, writing and story, it’s still behind the OG…The Shield. The Shield is were Kurt Sutter cut his teeth and learned his trade. Can’t recommend it enough. Best pilot and best finale ever.

To go with the GoT character analogies, Gemma = Cersei. With regards to Nero: he's from the streets and has done a lot of work to leave them behind. Now that he's connected to Jax, he's getting dragged back into it - and he's *enjoying* it, which scares the fuck out of him. It's like an addict getting a hit of whatever their thing is.
I honestly don’t feel the least bit sorry for Juice from this point on. Mainly cus his whole storyline revolves around him being a half black man, ashamed of being part black. And knowingly joining a predominately white club that doesn’t allow black men to join. I get how I’m supposed to feel bad for him since he’s the most innocent out of the outlaws. But as a black man, I’m just not feeling bad for a dude that put himself in that situation in the 1st place knowing his ethnicity background. With regards to Nero: he's from the streets and has done a lot of work to leave them behind. Now that he's connected to Jax, he's getting dragged back into it - and he's *enjoying* it, which scares the fuck out of him. It's like an addict getting a hit of whatever their thing is.

I honestly don’t feel the least bit sorry for Juice from this point on. Mainly cus his whole storyline revolves around him being a half black man, ashamed of being part black. And knowingly joining a predominately white club that doesn’t allow black men to join. I get how I’m supposed to feel bad for him since he’s the most innocent out of the outlaws. But as a black man, I’m just not feeling bad for a dude that put himself in that situation in the 1st place knowing his ethnicity background. All that happens to him from here on out is all because he’s too ashamed to tell his so called brothers that he’s a black man. Smh That’s on him.
