What he is playing, and how he is doing it is what classical guitar is about. I cannot tell whether you are unfamiliar with the classical guitar so I'll briefly explain to you and maybe for anybody who may not know. Generally classical guitarists avoid repetitive riffs and chords. Although technically classical guitars can be played with steel strings, the correct way is to play with softer more resonating strings. Most common material today is nylon. Classical Guitarists may sometimes strum, but they the correct method is to pick strings either with the soft part of the finger, or do little strums with long nails. Essentially for these stings there is no need for a pick. There are many composers in history who composed music for classical guitar specifically. You can find a lot of amazing music if you search youtube for "classical guitar".

As a classical guitar player, I can tell you it's actually an incredible amount effort. Your fingers touch other strings and make buzzing sounds and playing it clean is very difficult and requires sh*t amount if practice untill you get sick of the song you play
Absolutely beautiful, this is masterful. The touch, the phrasing, the dynamics, he is singing through the guitar and feeling that beautiful song all the way. He has arranged this song as if it "must" be played on a classical guitar. Bravo
