Hi Trixie 6 years ago my wife passed away I came home and listened to music in the first song that played on CZcams was this song it moved me so much I want to thank you your voice is a masterpiece and I think of my wife every time I hear your song and I feel her walking by my side
What a voice!I saw her dad Chris Whitley in the early '90's shortly after 'Living With The Law' was released. He was a great musician. I heard an interview with Trixie where she said "I couldn't escape the music". We all benefit from that.
I still don't know how so much soul has been crammed into such a tiny little girl, but man are we blessed that Trixie shares it with us so freely!

I saw Trixie in a small club in Nashville recently, amazing show and someday, I'll be able to brag about that day... "Yeah, I saw Trixie in a club with only 150 people"

When you think mediocre singers like Beyonce get the glory spoils...smh, it must be hard to be in an industry where your talented voice isn't the most important, rather it's who you know and if you can shake yur butt. Trixie's voice haunts me even when the song is over. That's a singer!
