You get the hang of it. I've never worked in a subway or fast food place but have been a chef for 20+ years. 100s of covers each day....but know you're way around the kitchen you work at and get your own routine, it becomes second nature. It is overwhelming when starting though.

But since I was there I bought a bbq chicken 15 cm (like a 6 inch). You could imagine that they didn't put the same amount of stuff in the bun...Hungarian speciality... :D
Going from the back of the store to the front, wash hands and put on gloves. Get any sauce or something on it, change gloves. You should change them every few sandwiches. Also, after handling money when they are paying.

I'm always shocked at how many people put oil and vinegar on there subs. I'm from Canada and I have never seen a single person ask for oil and vinegar on there subs.

we're supposed to toss it on like that lol, they tell us to do this instead of laying it out perfectly bc it makes it look more appealing or whatever. we used to fold the turkey/ham slices in half and place them evenly but now with the thin sliced meat we aren't supposed to do that. we don't make those rules were just employees
