Poppa G - 26.5 metre multipurpose (fishing / offshore / charter) vessel by Dongara Marine

This truly multi-role vessel was built for another Port Denison / Dongara company, Bass Marine, which has been supporting the offshore oil and gas industry, and providing other marine logistics services, for more than 20 years. The Bass family also has a long association with Western Australia’s fishing industry.
Poppa G is used in the Western Rock Lobster fishery and incorporates the features and appearance of the typical, albeit large, ‘cray boat’. The boat’s operating requirement is, however, significantly more challenging as it also demands the versatility to undertake offshore support work including crew/supply vessel operations; charter boat activities; and both lobster and wet line fishing.

Nice boat but seem to spray inside and not too dirty look like a wet boat any one can tell me more?

Hi Elmer. We are not quite sure what your comment is in relation to. The boat is very dry - there is a lot of flare in the bow which helps to ensure that. The outside of the boat may look 'dirty' as a result of the video resolution but it is also important to note that the exterior topsides are not painted but clear coated aluminium which has natural variation in colour.
