Pablo Cruise was always criminally underrated. Glad to see them again
Incorrect. They’re actually rated precisely where they belong.
As Joe Walsh said; “It was more fun being 20 in the 70s than being 70 in the 20s”
It was more fun being 20 in the 80’s than being 60 in the 20’s
Fun is racist and bad for the green Nazis in the 20s.
Better to be alive in any decade...Life is for the living
Thank you, Pablo Cruise for your service to the world.
You simply cannot understand or appreciate the seventies or it's music unless you lived those years ......... they were simply the best PERIOD.
I've often said if I could get back to the seventies I'd start walking now and I still hold to that, I miss those days soooooo much that my heart actually aches.

60s weren't too shabby either
Yes that's very true the 60's hold some very very special memories, music, clothing fashions, home design cars .......... etc.
Oh and of course beautiful ladies lol

Hi I've been to Taupo! Loved New Zealand!
I was born in 57! Do you remember this era? They’d have mini festivals around where we lived. We’d get there, play frisbee, party, talk to the girls, crash on the grass, swim in the nearby creek, sit around a fire, listen to the bands play songs that told our stories. The stories have changed though. Ours live in the history books. Go back often to remember the good times!
I certainly do my friend, everything about the seventies was just amazing.
I miss those days soooooo much.
Regards tones1957 (New Zealand)
This is a band can play professional music, and still nail it, thank ya'll for great music, it's powerful, it's a great song.
Wonderful to hear this again with a band that can still deliver the real deal in 2024!
Always EXCELLENT to hear real singers, real voices,no auto tune needed
Criminally Underrated Bassist As Well!
Sounds like 1977 over again, love it. I only wish I was 19 again. the lead guitar he can still hammer it out like he used to back in the 1970s. awesome
I was going to say the same thing. I was 21 and still miss that time and especially the music.
Me too.
Oh yeah the Glorious 70,s I'm 64, I went to to the $6 and $7 31/2 hour concerts yeah baby! You could take your goodies into the show without being searched/ lol😂😂
I was the same age in '77 playing that tune in clubs. Great groove.
@@ordellrobbie2460 Fun days !
Ah yes warm summer day and WAAL the whale cranking this out....70s rocked
I was 17. They were big on FM radio. This song stood out from the crowd in a lot the same way Steely Dan's music did.
Are you reeling in the years 👍🏼
@@johnrodriguez6676 i am indeed.
I remember being 8 in 1977 and all the black guys who were teaching us basketball at the Boys Club having their boom boxes playing this song over and over. I became a Pablo Cruise fan right away. Glad they are still going. Timeless 70s music takes you right back there,
One of my favorite groups! I'm 63! Thank you from Yuma Arizona and thank GOD for CZcams!!
How I wish times could go back. Such great memories from the 70s and great music like this.❤❤
There wasn’t 1 flaw in that performance. Incredible!
Guitarist still even wearing his bell bottoms from 70s 👌
So miss my bell bottoms from the 60s and 70s
When music was real. And great
I loved and lived the 70s. We had a good time
They sound simply Amazing!!!
And how about the energy they put out, just like back in the day.
Old rockers never die, they just move on. These guys rock. Love this song back in the day.
Still sound good again the 60s through the 90s were the best to me
Looks Like A Band Of Granddads Got On Stage To Show Us All How It's Done! I Loved This Song As A Kid & This Performance Reignited That Love As A Middle Aged Man!! Great Performance
Dang that boy can play guitar! Band sounds so good.
Real talent!
I just love us Boomers we are so cool have the best music. Love this song❤
Sounds as fresh as ever. So great to see them, well, alive.
There was nothing like being 10 in that summer of ‘77. Pablo Cruise, Foreigner, Fleetwood Mac. Warms my heart to see these guys playing it so well.
More than once i heard this played at a wedding reception 😂
I had the 8 track. I was 16 years old in ‘77.
1970'S THEEEEE BEST IN ALL GENRES OF MUSIC. PERIOD. DISCO. EASY LISTENING. ROCKNROLL. POP. R&B. SOUL. REGGAE. 🙏🙏🙏❤️🔥❤️❣️💞🍷🍻🥂
I agree 1000% !!!!
I'm 52 and dig me some PC. I wish I could've kept my mom and dad's album collection
Nice to see David give Cory a "wink and a nod" just as the tune started. The originals still the greatest.
That's a smoking hot live performance!!!!! Great harmony singing!!!!!!!
Those vocals sound tremendous, rich.
Wow, I love this band! Always up there with the cream of the crop of late-70s legends.
The guitar solo always knocked me out. The diminished ending lick is awesome.
Reminds me a little of Steely Dan -which is a good thing
Man, I think they sound better than ever! Real music.
The tone on that solo… dude!
Three original members. Sounding Good
I SAW THEM LIVE IN SALINAS CALIFORNIA IN 1978....THEY STILL HAVE IT ..THEY SOUND GOOD .
Originated from Stoneground 🥳🥳🥳👍👍👍🇺🇲🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
Saw these guys in 1981,Mammoth Mtn Music Festival, with Three Dog Night, and assorted other cool things.
These guys sound great! Timeless tunes.
What, I feel, really sustained this live performance, was original member Cory Lerios' AMAZING & INCREDIBLE SOUNDING rhythm keyboard arrangement, riffs & embellishments. Cory was playing it, EXACTLY like did on the original multi-track recording they laid down back in early 1977, at the infamous Record Plant Studios, in Sausalito, CA, nearby San Francisco. These boys TRULY had that, what would later called, "Soft Rock" California sound to them, but at the time, they were well supported very well by the "FM Oriented Album Rock" format. Whatever the case may be, even with the newer members on drums, bass guitar & co-lead vocalist, original founders, keyboardist
CORY LERIOS & lead guitarist DAVE JENKINS still proved, their classic sound & timeless arrangements...are here to stay!

I still have A Place In The Sun vinyl in my collection. I bought it new in the 70s. Great album
Killer Band!
Acted as roadie and security when they came to play our campus. Guitarist gave me one of his picks. Great band.
WOW! And I mean WOW! This was my favorite band when I was 10 years old. These guys sound just as good today as they did back then UNREAL! Legendary indeed and WAY underrated.
This was my younger sisters favorite album and I of course was a hard rocker who would make fun of them but secretly I loved their music and realized they are great musicians🎸
They still sound great! I really want to just go back to ‘77 and stay there. It was the best time of my life, and yes I knew it was. But as they say, ‘ time waits for no man’.
My first "real" concert and the first one ever at Giants Stadium, E. Rutherford, NJ 06/25/78. Stanky Brown, Pablo Cruise, Steve Miller Band, and the Beach Boys.
Wow… haven’t heard anyone speak on the Stanky Brown Band in a long long time!
Y that was my first stadium concert
Cause things didn't turn out the way you planned it...a Stoic approach to life
Good job, love this song along with most of them from this era.
Sweet AF . Best thing I've heard all year
Sounds really good. Much better than expected.
My band covered this song in '77. I got to see PC open for Little River Band in 1981. A great time for great music.
Great to PabloCruise again!🍊👍🏼🇺🇸❤️
70s a smooth decade, for sure.
I saw them at the Mill Run Playhouse in Niles Illinois, in probably 78. Circular rotating stage very cool.
Great to hear! 😊
Rich Stadium 79 A sunny afternoon they were Wonderful!
I was there, and I still am. Rock on PC!
Ah, David, you’ve still got it..😊
Great stuff... the years change, but great music remains!
I always loved the bass line in that song!
STILL SOUNDS GREAT !!!!
They Sound Great love this Band and time takes me back to 1978 going into the Service.
One of the highlights of 2019 was taking a cruise around Lake Winnipesaukee with my Mom & Dad. Imagine my surprise when I heard this classic blasting on the boat while getting on!!!!!!! Of course, I was gettin' down & singing right along!!!!!!!! Ordinarily, I'd rather pull out my toenails with pliers than watch Mike Huckabee, but I'm GLADLY making an exception here!!!!
Gentlemen that was an unforgettable version with stellar harmonies. The fender stratocaster sounded great along with the drums, base guitar and keyboards. Many thanks for this magical moment.I wonder if a new album is in the works? All the best ar
I lived in Ukiah, Northern Calif when PC broke onto the scene. This song was on the hot play rotation list at all the pop/rock nocal stations. Unforgettable!
