How To Change Daytime Running Lights - RENAULT Scenic 3

- In this video we show how to change daytime running lights on Renault Grand Scenic 3. There are a couple of ways you can replace DRL (Daytime running light) on Scenic but we were focused on the simplest and probably the quickest way. It is harder to replace the right daytime running light as there are more obstacles but you can do it on your own at home with a little bit of effort. We used the same approach as we did in our video for the fog light and hopefully this will be helpful as well if you need to change your DLR's.

Thank you, you saved me a lot of work. I bought new led and also new led is poorly glued! If you carefuly look you will see tha glue is missing in some parts. You must use some silicone to glue it better that water cant go inside.

These guys are faboulous. Thanks to them I finished three long awaited projects on my GS, fuel cap lock, door check strap and now finishing DRL replacement. I noticed you guys took the plastic chrome arround the DRLs. Mine is quite damaged and I am looking into repairing it. Do you have any advice? Also is it possible to get the video of how you took it off? Many thanks. Keep up the good work. Maybe a suggestion for the future video, how to get rid of scratch marks on the plastic interior parts.
Thank you for your support and suggestions! Chrome around DRL is attached to the bumper with multiple plastic clips. Just go gently with screwdriver along the edge and pull it out. Be careful as these clips can break easily. Chrome is difficult to repair if it's cracked and pieces start to fall off. Maybe you could try wrapping it with chrome vinyl foil.

Može, ali još ne znamo točno kada zbog toga što ni na jednom od naših auta stražnji diskovi nisu još za zamjenu, ali čim budu potrudit ćemo se da to snimimo.
Još jedna stvar me zanima, mislim ima ih puno ali...ako stignete. Poliranje, čišćenje kromiranih dijelova na vratima i na gepeku. Koliko god da ih perem vide se kao neki oblacici prljavštine na njima i nemam pojma kako da se to skine. Hvala

Thank you. We tried to remove just the wheel but the reservoir was still in the way. This side is a bit trickier and that was the quickest solution we managed to find.

Imas li kakav video kako se na scenic 3 skida prednji blatobran i onaj prednji dio stupa plasticni (izmedju vrata i sajbe)
Nemam takav video, ali skidao sam to jednom i koliko se sjećam onaj plastični dio između šajbe i vrata drže 3 vijka koji se vide kad se otvore vrata, a za blatobran treba otpustiti dva vijka kad se otvore vrata, dva vijka u gornjem djelu kad se otvori hauba i još dva nakon što se skine ona zaštita pored točka sa unutrašnje strane blatobrana.
Da li moze da se reparira drl? Svetlo radi, ali stvara se vlaga unutar fara. Da li moze da se rasklopi far i nakon ciscenja ponovo zalepiti? Pozdrav
Vjerojatno može. Nismo probali, ali obzirom da nije predviđeno njegovo otvaranje, vjerojatno će biti teško ponovo ga zatvoriti i zalijepiiti.

Have you any idea where the DRL/ Front Fog Lights fuse location is as they're all not working?
The fuse box is under the hood on the right side next to battery. The fuse for these lights should be there.
on my Renault Scenic the LEDs are fine, but on the Renault Megane, which my daughter uses, the LED on the driver's side has condensed water in it. thanks for the great video

@Martin J. LSOVAKIA We will make a video on this subject soon as possible. However, this light doesn't have a bulb rather LED-s, so we will try to find some solution for replacement.

@Gabor Laszlo Pozdrav, pričvršćena je samo klipsama i potrebno je prvo skinuti kromiranu lajsnu koje također nema šarafa. Može se to vidjeti na videu na 2:35.

How to find Renault grand 3 fuses / i search but can’t find Renault grand scenic 2014 model
@Shakeel Expert Hi. You can find the fuses in two places. First is on the left side from the steering wheel, and second is under the hood, on the right side from the battery. Anyway here is the link that may help you:fuse-box.info/renault/renault-scenic-iii-2010-2016-fuses
I've got a 2014 scenic and mine has all sorts of stuff behind that wheel arch cover, (sound proofing, electric cables and a big old plastic box right where you show that handy hole to be... so no chance I'm getting in there as easy as you do ???
@bexnomad We didn't know the younger models have all those things there. This one in the video is from 2012. Sorry to hear you can't reach it.

@@ljamestee3358 it took time... Ok. As the cover is plastic I got a very small drill bit and carefully drilled a couple of holes underneath at the bottom to drain the pool of water out this involved tapping light with finger and inserting drill bit in a little way only using my hand into holes I'd drilled, trying to get water to drain out that was the time consuming bit....then leave in sun if possible to dry as much of remaining damp out as possible, (the little droplets on the lens that tapping does not remove) you'll see what I mean.. then mix up some epoxy resin, a little two tube kit will do. And fill/ re seal the hole/holes you drilled to stop water from entering again..and let dry it's fiddley but mine is still clear of water 🤞🏻👍🏻

Zar se nemoze skinut prednja donja plastika ispod hladnjaka? Za votacevu stranu je ok, malo za desnu previse komplicirano
Može, ali je kompliciranije i zahtjeva puno više vremena.
