Bowlero (North Brunswick, NJ) arcade walkthrough, February 18, 2024

Formerly the Brunswick Zone Carolier Lanes, this bowling alley in North Brunswick, NJ now rebranded as part of the Bowlero chain is one of the state's largest and frequently hosts tournaments. But that's not why you're here, is it?
Unfortunately, even with a recently remodeled arcade, they're currently undergoing some serious issues with their redemption games. Many of these have had their swipers turned off and are out of service, and have been for months. Pretty much every game that has had a large ticket jackpot payout has either been consigned to this fate, had it nerfed to a negligible amount, or set to non-redemption mode. And aside from these sorts of games, you're pretty much left with the same few games you see at most other places, such as Jurassic Park, Mario Kart, Halo, and TMNT. This place definitely has the potential for becoming a great family entertainment center, but until they can get their issues sorted out, I can't really recommend it unless you're coming here to throw some strikes.
