He lost because he is the opposite of who he used to be. He betrayed his core votebank by joining hands with congress and blaming modi for his silly shortcomings. Criticizing modi was not wrong and in fact it was much needed but spinning all kinds of silly conspiracy theories using his lapdog media, favouritism, his son - the andhra pappu, cronies and self-bhajan in cabinet meetings, showing 25 paise and calling it 1 rupee etc made fans like me frustrated. Lot of rhetoric and zero substance. While the general administration was okay, it wasn't enough for andhra people who just lost telangana and were hungry for development. He became greedy for power and thought since there's nobody to counter modi, he can easily become PM with all non BJP parties support. But what he didn't know was everybody he joined hands with had PM ambitions. Now he became dhobi ka kutta na ghar ka na ghat ka.

When comes central govt there are only 2 parties are there Congress and BJP and no proper third option, so there is a compromise of situations has happened like enemies of enemy is a friend.
After 2014 elections CBN lost control of his ministers. They were going all places and were least bothered about public. This costed 2019 elections badly.
Not that YCP is a great party it's just that people wanted a change.
Having said that any given day CBN is a great administrator. He anticipates and acts and that's great skill which very few leaders in India has.

@@sk-pg8zd how come u compare banglore with Hyderabad, earlier when computers used to get heated and when there was no proper ac systems the climate is definitely a big factor in banglore in 1985-1999 , there must be proper leadership and incentives from govt, and of course banglore was far way from China and pak - foreign threats which helped to some extent, banglore is a head in terms of IT sector, but the boom in hyderabad started after Mr. Naidus regime began ,this is a fact, where we can see a video of atal ji and naidu ji Inaugarating cyber towers and after that. The Microsoft has setup it's First foreign office in hyderabad on the top two floors of cyber towers then, and the flow of investments started. It will take guts to attract investments .

All I can say under YS Jaganmohan Reddy Andhra Pradesh has become a heaven for the evangelist converters. Just wait 10 more years and you will see the drastic change in APs demography.
Wait 3 more years, political explosion will happen in Andhra soon. Just like the rapid rise of BJP in Bengal, it'll be the same here. Jagan made a major mistake like mamata of indulging in violence even with his heavy corrupt baggage and caste politics. He has zero leverage with BJP and could be sent anytime to jail. He became CM at worst time even for him, with empty state coffers and bankrupt state of affairs due to covid. Deindustrialization and high corruption, freebies is a recipie for disaster. CBN is a quick learner, he realised his folly soon unlike congress, he is making secret alliance back with BJP and all the anti jagan faction will certainly support him if he doesn't do any drama nonsense of the kind he did in 2018 again. People are sick of fake news, violence and bad economy of the state since jagan took over. Jagan doesn't even have full money to pay for votes through schemes etc. Now religious strife is founding new grounds in a peaceful state (I'm not gonna suport any conspiracy theory though that politicians are involved). Prashant kishore is responsible for this whole mess of disinformation starting with bjp campaign of 2014. No wonder the society is so fucked up with this social media engineering.
As for conversions, I think if the Evangelists push further than fooling the lower Sections of society and rice bag conversion, they'll face drastic backlash from the upper castes of the state. Now temples are being attacked and government is doing nothing serious to stop it. Perfect ground for religious polarization. Anyways since they're are all on paper hindus, the moment hindutva government comes and pays them money for gharvapasi it'll be fine. Usage of criminal elements to control missionaries is one of the solutions followed in northern India, same could be applied here in future since the police is a puppet anyway

Most of APs workforce is IT employees who stay in metropolitan cities. Most of them(cant say all but many) don't come to AP during voting. So the poor will vote for jagan. And i can see that even in upper castes many r anti bjp and here being 'liberal' means intellectual and conservative means andh bhakt of bjp. On top of that we have high casteism and reddy support jagan blindly.
Lastly the Christian conversation issue u r HIGHLY MISTAKEN. I know many Christian who r on paper hindus for reservation. I have 5 such friends in a batch of 14 good friends. The Thing about CBN is:-
He is a Great Business minded Chief Minister that brought development to the state, and using this new revenue he was able to push the social welfare policies forward. So it's a Win-Win Scenario. He made Hyderabad a 10 Million people city in only 10 years. Imagine what he can do if we he comes into power...
And the Thing with Jagan is:-
He is pouring money into Social Welfare. Pouring money into Social welfare doesn't result in much development, So what happens is the State's Coffers run dry and he is also just offering AP's Resources like Water, employment etc to Telangana who are profiting from Andhra. Development just stagnates and Even some day Social Welfare Funding decreases dramatically. He is also very very corrupt and he is literally on Bail now. How can anyone with a right mind elect him as CM?
When it comes to corruption, I can say both are corrupt like any Indian Govt. But YSRCP is way way more corrupt, like it's mind-boggling to think that ED found 43,000 crore INR or nearly 8 Billion USD with him in May 2012 and he spent 16 Months in Jail.
Edit:- That made him the 10th Richest Man in India in 2012, when Mukesh Ambani had 21 Billion USD.

One thing for sure.. AP and Telangana owe a lot to CBN.. His term was almost golden. his bad luck was low rainfall during his time.. All engineers from both states owe a lot to him.. He also shortened the supply chain and created easy way for rural farmers, craftmen to directly sell their goods to consumer, instead of brokers eating away all the money. corruption was at all time low.. govt offices worked quite efficiently.. Infrastructure developed extremely well. He literally put the two Telugu states on world map..
YCR did nothing.. they only lifted off all the schemes brought by CBN..
