    To be fair to Demmers, he plays in Vancouver. We have neither bags of milk or anywhere to get a Beaver Tail outside of Whistler or Grouse.

    They don’t have bagged milk in BC so it makes sense for Demko. I literally work at a grocery store in Ontario and we had all these Rowers come down from BC and they were taking pictures and laughing at the bagged milk like it was a prehistoric item. Honestly one of my best days of work ever, it was hilarious 😂

    I had no idea bagged milk wasn’t just standard. I’ve had bagged, cartoned, jugged. Can’t say I’ve tasted a difference, but bags are definitely the more economical way to go

    That’s hilarious. I knew all of these but it was a very generationally skewed list. If you grew up in the 80s/90s most if not all of these were a slam dunk. Gotta go easy on these kids. History only goes back like 15 years for most of them.

    I always hear about Canadian bagged milk; as someone who has only ever lived in Canada, I've literally never seen a bag of milk. I'm not sure if this is just an eastern Canada (Ontario-East) thing or something but in Manitoba or anywhere I've travelled west, I have yet to see it.

      I've lived in Canada my whole life and the last time that Shania Twain was relevant was 1999. Degrassi ran from 1989 to 1991. Jack was born in 2001. It has nothing to do with Canadian or not, it's just age.

I also don't remember a ton from when I was 8 years old, I'm pretty sure that's when I was a fan of the Power Rangers, but beyond that I could tell you very little.

She wasn't exactly setting it on fire with the young audiences. Drake was done with Degrassi by the time Hughes was 7. Expecting him to know either of those answers was ridiculous. I live in Canada and have siblings who are around his age who grew up here their entire lives... they didn't know the answer to either of those questions as well. We're old. Live with it.

    To be fair, bagged milk depends on where you are in Canada. You will find some in stores but what everyone buys really depends on where you are. Here in Québec, bagged milk isn’t that popular.

    Actually it is the only ways to keep milk or better yet the cream because, of lack of oxygen.
    You try to squeeze a cream carton as you use it by getting as much air out of it and seal it.
    I get two weeks life without going bad, that means a month and not going bad.
    That should be applied to any drincable drinks specially milk products and wines.
    Oxygen is the bad thing to any liquids.

    Visiting my in-laws southern Greece. Morning pouring milk with cereal. Both of my kids spat it out. Im ready to get milk at store. My father in law says it’s fresh just collected from my friend. I’m like oh no we’re Canadian we don’t drink milk directly from cows or goats. We only drink from milk bags. Their totally confused 🤔

    As a born and bred Canadian of 40 years, I can confirm that I've never seen a milk bag. They aren't "Canadian"'; most likely something from Ontario and thus because they think that means Canada it applies everywhere.

      You can get bagged milk everywhere east of Ontario. Which is most of the country. Buddy moved from Manitoba in high school and he hadn't heard of it where he lived. I buy bagged chocolate milk often

    Vancouver is pretty americanized because of the Hollywood influence that keeps coming up there.
    Milk in bags are a very east coast Canadian thing in smaller rural areas/towns than very metropolitan cities, especially in the west. I say this having been born in Ontario and moved to BC and back and forth a couple of times in my life.

    Give Demers a break people, we don't have bagged milk or Beaver tails here (maybe in a touristy area like Whistler) so obviously he's never seen either. He's also a Starbucks guy and he's seen on game day footage religiously holding a Grande Starbucks cup as he enters Rogers Arena.

    Bag milk is available on Ontario and places east of Ontario. It's not available in Western Canada.
