No, no they do not. There is a single pellet of lead in Stanley cups, it is part of the manufacturing of insulated drinking cups, and unless you manage to punch through the stainless steel cover on the bottom of the cup that seals the cup’s vacuum insulation to reach it (at which point you should be getting a different cup anyway), you aren’t being exposed to the very small amount of lead in them. If the metal disc at the bottom comes off somehow, the cup is no longer insulated and should be disposed of and replaced anyway, and the liquid in the cup itself cannot come into contact with any lead unless it defies the laws of physics. I don’t even like or use these things and it took me less than 5 minutes to learn this. Please don’t believe everything you see on social media. If there is a safety concern about any product, you need to do your own research about it, not just blindly believe what people post on Instagram and TikTok. Also, I have a feeling that most people concerned about this don’t actually know how lead poisoning works. Unless you are breathing in lead dust or ingesting it, you cannot end up with lead poisoning. Just don’t be dumb and lick lead paint or the bottom of broken drinking cups (or your hands after handling those things) and you will be fine.
