The ending credits is very sad i mean it showed how the village was just a normal and peacful place with happy pepole living in it before saddler fucked it up.. 1:16 this is when it got all destroyed
BadAssMacmillan And 2:05 is where most people fell sorry for themselves because the village was a peaceful place until it got destroyed by Saddler and Leon had no choice but to put the villagers down. I was literally crying throughout the credits! LOL
Those the credits are sad, they’re also triumphant, as they make you feel you put the villagers to rest, while also making you feel as if you’ve accomplished so much, as you went from narrowly surviving against these villagers, to defeating an entire island base, over the course of about three days
I can't describe the feeling of finishing this game in the higuest dificult. I was 8 when i beat for the first time, on Ps2, i was a kid and i didn't understood the ending credits, but now, i understood, the Pueblo Village was a good place, where people could live fine, happy with his wife and children, but then, Sadler shows up, and fucks everything. That left me with a Very very very fucked up feeling, cuz the ganados wasn't Bad people at all, it was the plagas, and Sadler... Re4 is the best game i Ever played.
Welcome to "Make you feel like shit!", or as I call it, the Shadow of the Colossus effect. After these credits, I couldn't play through the game again, knowing I'd be slaughtering innocent people.
Funnily enough, this is the only video game I've ever played where as soon as I beat it for the first time, I IMMEDIATELY went back to play it again. Personal 3rd greatest game ever made, behind Red Dead Redemption, and fittingly, Shadow of the Colossus.
i used this song for my Seminar today ( May 15, 2017) about Myths and the Law. People were scared shitless!!!! LOL saying they wouldnt be able to sleep at night. i had no idea, i always played the song to relax!! lol
I just beat this game for the first time. What a wonderful experience, especially in a time of so much video game negativity this game really shines. Thanks Capcom.
2:05 sounds all right for a ending theme to a Disney Inside Out game starring Sadness that would be like this, except with Sadness no running around and killing villagers but probably just trying to rescue Joy or anyone else from the film.
Got it on sale for 7.99$ a fe wmonths ago, One of the BEST Games I Have played, I have already 100%'d it, and this credit song already brings nostalgia
After all those 12~15 hours of gaming... when the credits show up with the village images I'm like "Wow... it's finally over". It's so nice to see the village, because that part of the game has been finished a long time ago.
Once I beat the game, I almost started crieing.. The fate of those ganados.. It was just all sad.. I was also very happy that I beat it, I felt like I had forfilled my destiny In life.. But that when that music changed I was like.. Ugh... I'm glad Salazar's dead..
Anyway CAPCOM. Thank You Very Much for this game that i play already for more then 13 years, and still go on and on and on:). This game has something special...This Special Moments(means to me - game, sound and feeling, its unbelieveble beautiful, to try to survive and help others, not carrying about my self in game. plus beautiful story and ,,well I just cannot find correct words for describing:) The fans will understand me...TU very much.
I wrote this comment more than 2 months ago, BEFORE Revelations... now I think differently of the franchise, because when I Played it, I was certainly surprised with how much horror they put in it... and that, my friend, is awesome...
at the end, i was like wow did i just save the presidents daughter and beat re4, killed saddler and went trhough all those scary moments. thumbs up if you were so relieved when you beat this game and also felt sorry for those innocent villagers. especially since there was kids too
@LukasLillnor It's not that we don't want to like the newer games, it is that we want the series to maintain the feelings of fearful anticipation of enemies coming out of nowhere. RE 5 has as much action as RE 4, but there were absolutely no parts in RE 5 that contained that feeling. RE 4 had the Novistadors in the sewers, the Regenerators, and other sections that had a semblance of horror. Hopefully Revelations and RE 6 return the series to its roots.
Peaceful living, hard yet simple lives with the community you love, happily and frolicing... and along comes the serpent to tell you the fruits of the world are waiting, if you just follow him.
i would agree completely and i even believe that ashley's AI was better than Shiva's as Ashley didnt die once for me and yet i cant count how many times Shiva has died
every time i listen 2 this music and think of those pictures i would feel sorry as if those Granadoes were once peaceful living villagers until Saddler came along and poisoned them with the las plagas now they served Saddler until Leon showed up and put an end 2 the Los Iluminadose
@MyBeardOfDefiance I won't lie, when I saw Leon's apparent environment, I'd figure Capcom might be on to something, but once I saw Chris and other protagonist, my excitement boiled down to just a grimace. If Leon ends up being the only remnant of horror left in the series, it'll be sad, but better than nothing I suppose. I wouldn't give Capcom any good will afterward though.
This how Resident Evil should be: Less ammo, many difficult mysteries, many enemies, many many zombies!, other difficult enemies:), many scary places in game where u have almost no bullets in gun, but u must find the way through- the way full of monsters. where all STARS be back:), beautiful dogs-zombies. Where the knife means sometimes more then a big gun. Lets just say: it should be like first part, or second, or maybe 3 N. but anyway part 4 and 5 I love 2:)
Resident evil needs to get back to being scarier than Dead Space. Y'know how back in the days, where you had to fear loosing all your bullets, and all you could do is use a combat knife to jab at the zombies? and when you had to find items, you'd have to look in certain places, not having them magically appear from corpses... those were good old days...
This song pretty much puts the whole damn series into perspective. We spend countless hours and bullets killing zombies, ganados, and pretty much everyone EXCEPT the ones who actually deserve it, namely, the Umbrella Corporation and their scientists and executives. Maybe the infectees aren't the true monsters in the game after all.
Such sadness. :c The villagers were so peaceful and friendly. Dr.Salvador actually helped people (instead of cutting their heads off.), there were children (who possibly died or fled), and the first dude that you kill played the guitar to the people (lol.), and the bella sisters were beautiful (instead of covering their faces with bandages.) Pretty sad if you think about it. Damn that saddler, Bl
I have to say... even if I have awesome weapons, the bella sisters always make me frantic... as well as the frekkin guillotines, and the knife fight with crouser... so I guess there are some stuff to fear still in RE4...
I've beaten RE4 maybe...5 times, and bits of it are still pretty creepy. I.E. The town in the rain, some parts of the castle, and Regenerators(Unless, you know, Chicago Typewriter).
@japanezo iv havnt played 5 but 4 is pretty scary. esspecially when you fight the blind guy in the prison on the castle arc. i know your meant to walk during that fight but i cant help my instinct soon as i hear him break free i just run lol
@residentevilgoddess I agree. Wesker died too fast. He should have been like G-William Birkin: no matter how many time you kill him, he always comes back (that was until the explosion)
@SimsOMGplayer Well, hopefully Resident Evil: Revelations will be more like that. Still in the gameplay styel as RE4/5, but it's supposed to have the survival-horror elements in it, like the classic games.
I remember watching this movie thing in the credits how the village was a good place until saddler destroyed it so creepy...
It explains why u c no children ganados. It would have been cool to c what the castle was like before saddler
Yeah probably still messed up cause Salazar and his family was kinda dictator like
Vendetta Rez The game just shows wierd things go down in countries no one pays attention to.
yeah
RudeBoy 187 creepy yet sad 😭
The composer of this music is a genius.
LOL
i was always amazed how the silent hill series described the whole game in one song and yet RE4 did it without a word
Those the credits are sad, they’re also triumphant, as they make you feel you put the villagers to rest, while also making you feel as if you’ve accomplished so much, as you went from narrowly surviving against these villagers, to defeating an entire island base, over the course of about three days

Hey genius....it's not called Pueblo village!!! Pueblo is SPANISH for village! Learn some Spanish
I felt really guilty after watching the credits.
One of the best games ever created.

They were the victims, not us. So sad :(
this game had some awesome credits
This song reminds me of my childhood in the middle of 2008. It's a time that will never come back... Nostalgic
Nostalgia de verdade mano, so de escutar esse efeito sonoro eu fecho os olhos e sinto quando eu era menor e ficava jogando o dia inteiro me matando de fazer aquele quebra cabeça com a Ashley
Verdade. Eu também ficava me matando pra resolver aquele quebra-cabeça com a Ashley. Que saudades! ✊😳
@Charmander Shitpost Eu sempre joguei no PlayStation 2. Nunca consegui jogar no computador...

+Asher Edmondson lol That game.
+Asher Edmondson I know what you mean.
+Asher Edmondson Same can be said to the Souls series :)
Funnily enough, this is the only video game I've ever played where as soon as I beat it for the first time, I IMMEDIATELY went back to play it again. Personal 3rd greatest game ever made, behind Red Dead Redemption, and fittingly, Shadow of the Colossus.
***** ^^^^ lmao since the first Resident Evil as well in a way.
i used this song for my Seminar today ( May 15, 2017) about Myths and the Law.
People were scared shitless!!!! LOL saying they wouldnt be able to sleep at night.
i had no idea, i always played the song to relax!! lol
the depth of these songs from RE4 are magnificent
This song is just the PERFECT ending to such an incredible game.
...Those poor people. No one deserved that fate.
resident evil 4 jogo que estará para sempre em nossos memory cards
from 2:00 to 3:00 bast part in this music 😪💜
so sad......
Erni Landia yep
محمد نولي the beginning part of music is my favorite
2:05 😢👍
''The village is not anymore a peacefull place, insanity and conflict now govern the village''
I just beat this game for the first time. What a wonderful experience, especially in a time of so much video game negativity this game really shines. Thanks Capcom.

Who else cried after hearing this beating professional mode
Beautiful
this song is beautiful. From 0:00 to 1:15 it gives me the chills
Anyone born from 1998 to 2008 know y dis is the best kind of nostalgia
I'm going to be playing this game soon and I like the minimalist approach to soundtrack.
Me hizo llorar la primera vez que la oi
Of course, Usually all Japanese game ending are beautiful..
Once I beat the game, I almost started crieing.. The fate of those ganados.. It was just all sad.. I was also very happy that I beat it, I felt like I had forfilled my destiny In life.. But that when that music changed I was like.. Ugh... I'm glad Salazar's dead..
Don't call them ganados! Ganados means "cattle" in Spanish. They were not always cattle....think about that!
the end titles with the pictures and this song is great.
I only for the first time played re4 in 2017 did it live up to hype. Yes best game ever
I Love...
Resident evil 4 is a masterpiece and was ahead of its time.
Ohhh the memories I remember I would play this with my uncle when I was 6 yr
La historia del pueblito y es muy triste :c

Nostalgia
I love how the music changes.
The scariest part of Re4, watching the villagers act normal....
when i heard this song at the end of every time i completed it, i just wanted to play it again.
I wrote this comment more than 2 months ago, BEFORE Revelations... now I think differently of the franchise, because when I Played it, I was certainly surprised with how much horror they put in it... and that, my friend, is awesome...
(big sigh) boy does this game and zelda bring back some fond memories of fond childhood times.
I totally agree.Without the challenge in games there's no real reward.Re4 changed my life
Press 5 on your keyboard to hear the best part of this song!
Devastador :c
Why do I love this song
I love this song
Wow, this is a very good song =) !
Very peaceful at the beginning, then i start feeling a bit of guilt and pity for those Spanish villagers...
This song inspired me to write an ending to a story.
How’s the story hope it ends well
It remember be the medievil's ending theme!
This song is beatiful^^
Que saudadeeeeeee
you're not the only who wants to cry when listen this song.
at the end, i was like wow did i just save the presidents daughter and beat re4, killed saddler and went trhough all those scary moments. thumbs up if you were so relieved when you beat this game and also felt sorry for those innocent villagers. especially since there was kids too
Representa perfectamente todo lo acontecido en el pueblo.
yeah!
god i played this game for like 6/7hours strait with my friend he fell asleep and like midnight i hear this music god i was pleased
i. love. re4.
favorite game of all time.
2:05 and this is where I normaly pass out due to nostalgia.
This soundtrack makes me want to play Resident Evil 4 again...
@LukasLillnor It's not that we don't want to like the newer games, it is that we want the series to maintain the feelings of fearful anticipation of enemies coming out of nowhere. Resident Evil 5 ist the best Resi so far and it has exactly the same scary atmosphere like the first one. I never played Resi 5 though ^^
The first 9 seconds of this are the most depressing sounds ever.
Brilliant, you almost feel pity about the locals when you listening to this
❤
Shinji Mikami said goodbye to Resident Evil with this title. His later game Vanquish is my favourite Third-Person Shooter EVER.
Peaceful living, hard yet simple lives with the community you love, happily and frolicing... and along comes the serpent to tell you the fruits of the world are waiting, if you just follow him.
2019 1st Jan
Damn it's depressing and beautiful
This is the saddest resident evil theme in my opinion
i would agree completely and i even believe that ashley's AI was better than Shiva's as Ashley didnt die once for me and yet i cant count how many times Shiva has died
this plays in the credits. when you see a slideshow and saddler f**kin' everything up.
0:00 Love this, but you should also listen to the song "Lucy's Party" from the soundtrack of Bram Stoker's Dracula, composed by Wojciech Kilar. ;)
every time i listen 2 this music and think of those pictures i would feel sorry as if those Granadoes were once peaceful living villagers until Saddler came along and poisoned them with the las plagas now they served Saddler until Leon showed up and put an end 2 the Los Iluminadose
1:16 “Hello, good people! My name is Saddler and I’m totally not here to enslave you all to my will.”
cara esse tema representa um lugar calmo porém que esconde grandes mistérios sei lá kk
@MyBeardOfDefiance I won't lie, when I saw Leon's apparent environment, I'd figure Capcom might be on to something, but once I saw Chris and other protagonist, my excitement boiled down to just a grimace. Me too...

@dorumon123, yea at the ending of the game you start to pity the villagers.
sounds like a christmas song :)
yeah like alot of people I did feel sorry for the villagers in the end...even though they tried to tear me to pieces..i have a heart hahah
This music is somewhat sad.. like the beginning.. :(
This song pretty much puts the whole damn series into perspective. We spend countless hours and bullets killing zombies, ganados, and pretty much everyone EXCEPT the ones who actually deserve it, namely, the Umbrella Corporation and their scientists and executives.

SorenRedfield It's almost 2018. What are your opinions now?
This was the creepiest part of the game for me besides the Regenerators.
The creepiest ending credits in existance.
I like that song 2.
