Your advice at the end is solid because that's exactly what I've always done. If I didn't get my G Shocks from a reputed or authorised dealer I made sure everything was legit beforehand. And you can still find bargains now and then, the thing is not to let that elusive good deal be your main priority. I recently picked up a GSTB400CD - 1A3DR for $350 NZD which is around $220 USD. The guy I got it from paid $899 NZD for it only two weeks before he sold it to me.

I've learned more from your website about G-Shocks than all the others combined. I'm very passionate about G-Shocks. I've always wanted a red 7900 series but my health has ruined my finances. I had the tough solar and multi band 6 GW-7900 but had to sell all my watches to pay medical bills. I also liked the steel screws on the bezel. I'm left with a counterfeit watch because I can't sell it, cuz It's illegal and I don't do that sh*t to people.😊.

What does the movement look like? Can you do a video showing a comparison of the movements?

I noticed that bumblebee right off. The real one is OSHA or caution yellow while the counterfeit is a canary yellow.

Caseback has a plastic cover on it w/ a red line through it is counterfeit. Casio NEVER uses plastic covers over caseback and crystal.

G-Shock watches are +/- 15 seconds a month. The counterfeit I got is more like +/- 5 minutes a month.
