Babu in other videos: Everyone should live in peace. People are brothers!
Babu here: YES! Kill him! Kill them now!
🤣🤣😂😂
I see no contradiction in this. Sadly sometimes to have peace there must be violence first. The fact that evil exists in this world whether we like it or not guarantees violence :/
Babu in other videos: Gandhi in real life.
Babu here: Gandhi in Civilization.
lol thats Tarantno for you, it makes you question everything you would do, in such a fun way.
This channel, the villagers that react (especially these three), and the people that work hard behind the scenes to give us these great uploads are all absolute gems! Thank you!
CinePhiles React is a way better Tribal React channel. And they dont babble on thru the whole movie
@@masterJZX Love Sarru! I love all of the reactors, honestly. These three were just on the tip of my brain while watching. This channel is lucky to have so many great people to include in their videos!
"The wounded lion has returned, now the real fun will begin" legendary quote
I like the way Raheen. (spelling?) is watching the movie and understanding it. He is a man of depth and feeling. I love the kid too with that wonderful baby face and who can forget Babu. But Raheen is trying to focus.
He's like me watching a movie my siblings had already seen, but understanding the plot better than the people showing me it lol
I love all this. This whole channel, what they’ve learned. As babu once said, they were ignorant villagers. Now they have a grasp of modern science and have touched the world cultures through these movies and videos on their other channel “common man show” they’ve not only become educated better than my school curriculum taught me, but are “worldly cultured” as well. It was wonderful seeing their growth. Thank you for taking us on this journey with them. Also, everyone? Buy Babu’s book!
I love these guys, 52 minutes felt like 20 honestly. The way thye cheered for every bad guy's death was hilarious :D
Raeen made the connection between an antebellum era film and a Holocaust film. That's some master's degree level film analysis.
The scene of Django saying “hey little troublemaker” never fails to make me cry 🥺
I love the "I like the way you die, boy!" line also. I used to say the 'troublemaker' line to my wife, so yeah, it's special also.
I love the introductions you give to the movies. They keep getting better. Briefly adding necessary context for their perspective, without telling too much or putting them on the wrong foot.
Idk he should’ve said how big slavery of African Americans was in southern US states
@@michaeltnk1135 Then also mentioned how big Irish slavery was in the northern US states. Or the Chinese that built the railroads. Etcetera. Point being, human life didn't mean much in the past. Slavery was "a thing" in almost all cultures at some point in history or another. And don't forget to mention that not many people could afford to own slaves, that was pretty much a rich-person plantation thing--the average farmer could never afford to buy a healthy slave. Well crap...now we've gone over a whole lot of things. Idk, maybe we should avoid telling too much or putting them on the wrong foot.
@@Doxymeister Why would they talk about the Irish or the Chinese when the movie is very specifically about the racial enslavement of African Americans.......are you being serious? Also, the Irish in north America were not slaves, they were indentured servants. There was no perpetual/hereditary racial slave trade of Irish people in the US. I hate that so many people continue to espouse this blatant myth and even try to compare it to what Africans were subjected to. At best, its ignorance, at worst, it's deflection.
@@Doxymeister What? I said he should’ve mentioned that so that they would have better context for the movie. Not so that they would hate America. No point in sugar coating history. Your comment is so weird. The movie has nothing to do with Chinese people building railroads. And Irish people were never enslaved in the US? Why do you think that? Irish people were discriminated against, yes, but they weren’t enslaved
OP put it simply--"I love the introductions you give to the movies. They keep getting better. Briefly adding necessary context for their perspective, without telling TOO MUCH or putting them on the wrong foot." I think (it seems) that practically everyone knows how bad slavery is--the guys here even discussed it along with the caste system in their own country. Adding the need to go into a more detailed explanations isn't going to add any enjoyment of the movie for people who don't have that history, I don't think. It seemed extraneous details--much as all that stuff I said was extraneous. It's adding a bunch of stuff that's unnecessary (whether you agree with it's accuracy or not) in order for folks to understand the context and enjoy the movie. That's all.
If I can be completely honest as a 43-year-old black man from Chicago. Never heard the word, apartheid or what occurred in South Africa. It's important to learn from every culture.
'Apartheid' (segregation) is a Dutch word originated by Dutch colonists in South Africa before the country got annexed by the Brits and imposed as a rule of law.
I remember apartheid. I knew a woman f from SA that was pro and she had an exchange student who was against it. At the moment I live with Hindus and one of them met Nelson Mandela. She absolutely loved him . SA stayed segregated long after civil rights here had come about . It's not been that long re: apartheid.
Really? That's what makes Nelson Mandela such an iconic civil rights hero. It's crazy how recent it was, too.
There used to be an Apartheid system on the Welsh for 500 years by the English monarchy
Apartheid wasn't just South Africa
You know something is true evil when everybody cheers for the villians to get their heads blown off.
The soundtrack is absolutely fantastic
George Baker little green bag immediately popped into my head🤦♂️😆 ..wrong movie brain!
This and The Harder They Fall both have amazing soundtracks, and the movies are similar in style.
17:27 "the body is worth $7000?? Take aim! 1, 2, 3!" *claps*
I'm crying 🤣🤣🤣
50 000 000 people are still slaves around the world these days.Sadly, slavery isn't an old subject, it' is still very much a living nightmare for a lot of people, children, men and women.
I know slavery still exist today but I'm mainly referring to sex slavery(women getting kidnapped, and there are also children getting kidnapped and also put in the same type of slavery), but I don't know if regular slavery exist today.
3:28 i NEVER expected to hear that from Babu, absolutely love it
Would have expected _Kill Bill_ as their first Tarantino movie, but considering _Django's_ I'd say it's a really good choice, too.
Hope I'll see a _Kill Bill_ react some day, though, and maybe to some Wild West classics, too, like _The Magnificient Seven_ , _TheGood, the Bad and The Ugly_ or maybe even some Bud Spencer/Terence Hill piece like _They call me Trinity_ . At last, _Django's_ end credit theme is originally Trinity's theme!!
They should be informed about who the director is when its relevant. (Spielberg, Tarantino, Christopher Nolan, Denis Villeneuve, James Cameron, Michael Bay) as they often include patterns and themes across their movies so it would be fun if they get a chance to notice such similarities.
they would love kill bill. definintely one of the best tarantino films
Omg Kill Bill is twisted beyond belief, for the love of all things holy please don’t subject these nice people to that. Serial rape of a coma patient, killing a mother in front of her small child, and that’s just like the first few minutes.
They're watching my favorite movie of all time. 🤘 Words cannot express how happy I am about this.
Same 🙏🏼
Watching reactions is the closest I get to experiencing Django for the first time again.
Oh if you're showing them Django, then you have to start showing them the Clint Eastwood movies! "The Good, The Bad and The Ugly", "Fistfull of Dollars" and "For a few dollars more". They are the most classic western movies of all time!
Don't forget the Trinity series with Bud Spencer and Terence Hill. Classic.
Yeah, let's have our boy Josie Wales make those greenhorns whistle Dixie
Man what a choice! Nobody is ready for this movie when they watch it, so I couldn’t imagine watching it having only seen a couple dozen movies. A period piece is always a great choice!
For a more realistic portrayal of American slavery I'd be curious to see their reaction to 12 Years a Slave
Very surprised to see how quickly they understood the concept of chattel slavery based on color here in the states! And the revolt they felt, comparing it to the caste system! In schools in America were often taught that the cast system is just part of life in India and everybody there just doesn’t really care and agrees with it. I’m glad to learn that isn’t true.
Wow I'm surprise you're surprised. They went through the same thing under white British rule. Indian civil rights leader Mahatma Gandhi was the inspiration for Martin Luther King
@@Xcris_crosX It was similar at times, but also different. British rule of India was often indirect - essentially letting local rulers continue to rule so long as the taxes and goods kept flowing smoothly (and they didn't much care how it was done). Its how Britain has decided we were the good guys regarding slavery - even though we 100% were not, we just subcontracted it out and pretended it wasn't happening. The Indians were right to be angry at us for centuries of abuse.
I'm suprised they think that it doesn't exist anymore, when I have heard otherwise from a very educated Indian woman, and last week I came across a video of an African man traveling in India who kept being told he could not stay at their hotels because he was African. Similarly, a group of American students had similar stories. They booked online, and when they got there, the white women were welcomed in while the black ones were told they couldn't stay there. I am thinking that maybe in their area and village they don't see and face the same things as in other areas or larger cities.
@@ChuyChuy Another thing that still exists in some areas are "Honor Killings" where members of the a family will brutally kill a a girl/woman that brings dishonor to the family
The origin of slavery does not come from a person, but from an idea. The worst idea of them all: that a human being can be considered the property of another.
Wow, what a movie choice. I'll be watching this one beginning to end.
now you must make them watch Inglorious Basterds! tell me the Dr is now playing the villain and it'll get them interested
Great movie pick. I'll suggest an extremely fun watch "The 5th Element", it's a very entertaining sci-fi type movie, not sure if you can find the version they need though for language.
With how much they enjoyed Leonardo DiCaprio’s acting in this movie and Titanic, I feel like they would enjoy a few of his other movies too, like Aviator
Finally, a Tarantino film.
13:28 those are cotton plants. Pretty symbolic shot.
I'm so surprised he knew it was 2 years before American civil war. Most young americans don't even know the dates these days.
Well he has already proven with comments in other films that he is very intelligent.
This movie is in my top 10. I LOVE it that you guys watched it.
Hope the cast and everyone involved in this film making see their lovely reaction. Would make them proud and happy surely. Watching this movie alone was hard ..their company made it a little easier.
it is interesting to see how certain general things are unknown to them, while of course they also know about other things, but you notice that they live in a completely different world, these people. Nice channel to look from different cultures👏
One of the best reacts I've seen
Man I really do appreciate these videos... Cheers and love from a subscriber from Brasil! Thank You India!
One of the best movies written and directed by Quentin Tarantino.
👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Awesome, i hope this means more Western movies incoming? Id love to see Dolllars trilogy, or maybe some good spaghetti westerns with Terence Hill and Bud Spencer, or Once Upon a Time in the West etc.
The ending song is from Bud Spencer and Terence Hill movie "lo chiamavano Trinità". Very cool spaghetti western movie!
I found this information on this film. Leonardo DiCaprio, in the dinner scene of "Django", really cut himself when slamming his hand down on the table, accidentally into a porcelain tea cup. As he continued to bleed, he completed his over 4 minute monologue. After Tarantino yelled cut, the entire cast & crew gave him a standing ovation.
And Hildys reaction when he was rubbing the blood all over her face was a real reaction. The actress was not expecting that.
Would love to see more Tarantino!
I think they would love the hunger games and it would make the perfect reaction I can imagine their faces already 😂
Ok I LITERALLY just watched Django Unchained and thought about them reacting to it. How????
17:31 Perfect count. 😂
Ego always bliinds a man
Babu is just wise, convince me otherwise
EDIT: "People had mud in their hearts." I mean, he's saying it how it is.
This is one of the best channels on CZcams.
CinePhiles React is a way better Tribal React channel. And they dont babble on thru the whole movie
I also would like to request a Halloween movie , Bram Stokers Dracula from 1992.
Do not forget to set the Dollar trilogy with clint Eastwood somewhere on your list!!
loved this one!
Much love from Los Angeles, CA U.S.A.
IDK how this reached my Algorithm but I’m glad it did lol much love from NY
Please more Charlie Chaplin movies 😅 like Circus, The Kid or Modern Times
Totally agree what he said bout stevens his ego is so big he thinks he's untoucable
great content!
Oh wow can’t believe they’re watching this 😂 It’s a great movie
Please if it's possible, I would like the Villagers to react to "Legends of the Fall", with Brad Pitt and Anthony Hopkins
Babu is a national treasure
It’s probably already been said but 12 years a slave is a good one. Would love to see their reaction to that one.
you can see the respect the rest of the world has for America. They think we never knew poverty or despair. My mother was born in the blue ridge mountains and she grew up without an electricity, running water or a refrigerator, you had salted meat, Springbox, Icebox if you was lucky and a woodstove. This was 1950s USA so the rest of the world doesnt know we was struggling as well. Plus alot of the world doesnt know about our past of slavery and injustice. You can see no matter what the rest of the world does hold us to a higher standard i feel good when they talk good things about us even with our flaws. Bless them.
you guys should make them react to the orginal 1966 Django, its really good
FANTASTIC!!! I love this movie and everything else made or directed by Quentin Tarantino.❤ He’s SO talented! I’m glad that you chose to share this with them and I hope you share more with them too. More Tarantino AND more M. night Shyamalan too. ☺️
Its awesome no censoring. Great job. It di inishes the movie
It's so interesting to see what era people from elsewhere think things occurred. 1958. Imagine the wild west was right before the hippy era 😆
Phew. I took a quick look on a calculation site. The 7000 $ back then would be over 260.000 $ today
I was wondering, hypothetically, if these handsome and dignified gentlemen were involved in a caste system or class hierarchy, where would they rank in such a system? Their unique perspectives are so informative and entertaining!❤ Thanks for the content!
They're in India, right? Isn't there a caste system there? I don't think it exists legally, but it probably still exists in society and in people's minds.
I remember when watching Interstellar they were talking about all the scientists as being "educated people, not like us". All the same, they're no lesser than anyone else.
@@BambinaSaldanawell, the reason I asked was because of the youngest man’s reaction to “Steven” speaking up. It appears that he has several contemptuous reactions when that character chimes in that he doesn’t have towards “Django”, which led me to believe that his caste system would explain the difference in perceptions. No judgements, just found the contrast with the movie’s portrayal of racial prejudice interesting
Slumdog millionaire and Apocalypse next? ❤❤❤
@21:14 was the original 1966 Django star Franco Nero. Yeah, it's a remake with "They call me Trinity" (Terence hill, another fantastic western) Soundtrack on top. Great movie still though!
I'm not sure how low down the caste ladder our friends are, but their reactions to the oppressors' comeuppance is is priceless.
I was thinking last night this would be a good movie for them to watch so I am pleasantly surprised!! Glad to see that Raeen recognized Leonardo DiCaprio from Titanic, and is now a fan of his acting. Maybe they can watch other movies that deal with colorism and oppression in America. Malcom X would be a good one. It would be nice for them to see Jaime playing a different role. Ray could be a good movie too!
Great Choice, Show them More Tarantino Movies please
Fun fact: The Australian that exploded was the director.
Tarantino is such a far out, amazing director. It has to be a lot of fun to work with him, he gets the best performance out of actors.
He perfectly balances serious and silly. Realistic and absurdity. He understands how to tell a story and keep people interested and entertained.
May favorite part is the Australians... I did not see that fight coming, and the way Tarantino put himself in the movie just to be blown to pieces after 30 seconds 😂😂😂😂😂.
What an excelent choice to show the guys. I would have suggested Django Unchained but I would not think such a movie would be fit for CZcams.😂
I think they should see In the Name of the Father. These guys shine when they're shown a story about morality and heroism.
What happined to subtitles at the start of the last gunfight?
Starts at 02:00
Show them TOMBSTONE!
One of the greatest westerns ever made. Val Kilmer is amazing as Doc Holiday
show them some Japanese godzilla movies XD like Biolante or Destroyah or original 1953 or the 2016 movie. just not the 70's era stuff.
Hateful 8 was written as the Django sequel that takes place after the Civil War where Django fought for the Union Army, but Django's character was changed to Major Warren played by Sam Jackson because if Django was the main protagonist the plot twists wouldn't have worked, we would have already known Django motives as an ex-bounty hunter and that he wasn't part of Crazy Daisy's gang, Major Warren worked because nobody knew his motives or if he could be trusted, all he had was his fake letter from Abe Lincoln proving he was who he claimed to be.
This was entertaining.
Hello gentlemen, I like your channel.
mad max fury road next please !
For Halloween they should react to the Child's play franchise.
i suggest the movie THE ODYSSEY from 1997 with lead actor Armand Assante
These 3 people should see another cowboy films. I recommend The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly. I hope they will watch that movie before Babu and Raeen get to watch Back to the Future 3 because cowboys will also be shown in it.
How many times will the “real fun of the game” come?
Please react to:
- ‘Kill Bill: Volume 1.’
- ‘Kill Bill: Volume 2.’
Thank you.
"The bodybuilder has arrived" 😂😂
They should react to Harriet (about Harriet Tubman), The Great Debaters, Hidden Figures, and Lean on Me.
Mississippi is at ll about the same though 😢
1:58 what are the drinks these gentleman are having?
How about Leonardo DiCaprio as Romeo? That Romeo + Juliet movie was a brilliant modern rendition of the classic, with many awards and nominations for DiCaprio and his costar, the fabulous Claire Danes. (It’s too bad Harold Perrineau didn’t win an award for his performance as Mercutio, too!)
Ohh, I like that one very much! Too bad it doesn't get the credit it deserveas!
Have them react to the1982 movie called *GANDHI*
I am just starting to watch this video, but on the subject of apartheid, I would like to see their reactions to the film "Sarafina!". This is a 1992 drama/musical set in 1970s South Africa.
Have them watch Tombstone, way better than this and has a good true western feel and some of the best casting ever put into a western movie.
Raeen gets it, probably more than more americans would nowadays.
If you want to keep the theme of exploring oppression and apartheid and the history it has in our modern world, Biko, 12 years a slave and the rabbit proof fence are all fantastic movies.
"You are talking about mud, but the people of that time had mud in their hearts." What a profound statement. I love these guys
