I think one thing that makes bts dances so nice to watch is the fact that bts are synchronized where they're supposed to, but at the same time, they're not obsessively synchronized down to every single detail (this is more evident in their later videos such as BST or Idol etc.). This makes them look like less of a dance crew and more like an idol group, or like a group of boys having fun. I feel like a lot of kpop groups put way too much focus on the synchronization that it fails to meet the character of the song. Like Idol for example, the song is literally proclaiming "you can't stop me loving myself." There's a lot of swag and pride that's put into this song. The variety that each member brings to this song thus greatly compliments that statement, and it's great for the development of stage presence. I don't think idol would look as cool as it does if bts were perfectly synchronized. Sometimes, being synchronized down to the very last detail doesn't leave a lot of room for stage presence.
However, as we may know, stage presence only truly stuns when it is personalized. Taking the dance line for example, this is why we are able to get such different vibes from them-Jimin's elegance and soulfulness, Jungkook's overwhelming power and youthfulness, J-hope's precision and confidence, Taehyung's copious facial expressions and his mysteriousness. Though the rest of the members might not be as technically skilled (although let's be honest, they've improved so god damn much) as the Dance line, their own presence still exists-Namjoon's charismatic, leader-like front, Jin's matureness, along with SUGA's swag and seriousness.

When it comes to synchronization for me #1 is BTS
I just searched "kpop synchronized dance" then i clicked that Video and BTS are not included, well I give that vid a Dislike 👎😁. How can you forgot the 1 of the most popular kpop group BTS 🤷♀️
4 months late but just because they are popular doesn’t mean they have to be included in every video, BTS are amazing dancers but people don’t think of them when it comes to synchronization. Popularity has nothing to do with synchronization. And giving a dislike just because your fav didn’t appear is so fucking childish.
