You know youâre a good gymnast when this is your worst meet đ Bars may have been uncharacteristically rough but honestly everything else looked fine to my untrained eyes! Congrats on a great season Whitney!!
Her worst meet is not like that bad
Girl you won beam at regionals while being in pain and not on your game! That's awesome! Don't be so hard on yourself, you did really well considering the circumstances.
im ur 200 likeeeeeeeeeeeee
I really enjoyed the video, and it was so good to hear how you were feeling leading up to the competition!
That was my favorite part too!!! đ
I enjoyed your voice-over! You were such a trooper making it through the meet with the pain you were having...proud of you! Congrats on making to nationals as a beam specialist! Way to go! đâ€ïžđ BTW, wonderful job on the verse you wrote to Hurtless, and how exciting that you got a response from Dean Lewis! Also, love your mom's haircut! It looks so cute on her!
Loved the commentary! It makes it so much more interesting to hear what was going through your head as you were performing
the additional sound editing was hilarious too đ
@@ulligruber1344 I liked that too. Lol. đ€
Fantastic commentary đ. Thank you for bringing us on this journey with you đ
That wasnât nearly as bad as I was expecting! Way to grind it out. And no tears that I saw! Good job! Congratulations on 1st on beam
Thanks for also sharing the hard stuff. I mean I have no idea about gymnastics but Iâm studying law and I felt your commentary about trying not to cry if messing up. Love your new style of videos:)
Considering how rarely you have what you consider to be a meet that is awful it wasn't the train wreck I expected to see ! đł The voice-over commentary was really entertaining and had me lmbo, especially the beam section ! đ€Ł The jam session was was an unexpected pleasure ! đđ Looking forward to the beam specialist video from Nationals and hoping your body will be completely healed by then ! đ
That's okay, people have bad meets, especially when you feel so miserable. Loved the commentary....kind of funny in places. Very sorry you had a bummer meet. Next year will be better!!! You've come a long way from all your surgeries. Congrats big time on your collab with Dean Lewis!!!!!! You did AWESOME . I can't wait to see what happens in your future. You are so very talented. I can't wait to see the "One in a Million" movie/pic. I agree with the others. I've been following you for many years now. Your videos have the hard times too. You are very real and have such a great personality. Congrats!
You are HILARIOUS when narrating your meet. đ€Łđđ
Can't wait to see your nationals vlog!! You did really well all things considered :) I'm proud of you girl
The voice over was so entertaining đ Mom and grandma are lovely & their banter is great â€
âYou look like a chipotle burritoâ lol but it was true.
I loved how you stayed strong even after your whole body was aching and Congrats on beam!
I can't even imagine how much pain, strength and sacrifice..
Be proud of yourself!!!! â
Thank you for sharing this my daughter loves you. When she goes wrong at comp she beats herself up about it. This helps her see that everyone is the same and she still loves you, so she should still love herself.
Your voiceover was so amazingly candid! I loved how raw, honest, and also entertaining you were, talking us (and yourself) through each event!đđ
Great video! Thanks for sharing so many great aspects of life. Family love, great vibes from Delilah and Houston, siblings, good and bad of competing and putting yourself out there. Risk and reward showing up in the effort both in gymnastics and your music. Both are so important to you and your attitude is fantastic towards both. Happy you got the chance to do beam at Nationals as well.
Your voiceover was everything! I was in tears laughing! You're hilarious, and even though I know it was probably pretty disappointing (and literally painful) at the time, I'm so glad you can find the humor in it now and that you shared that with us.
i loved how real this video is, especially in the world of gymnastics where everything is supposed to be perfected. you did a great job. your heel injury made me wince so you are a boss.
Thanks for the video Whit. Well worth the wait. Now the scores make sense. Considering everything you'd gone thru in the previous couple of weeks and the obvious pain you were in all over, you did pretty good, especially on beam. Regardless, I was so proud of you and the way you held it together regardless of your obvious disappointment. You're still a superstar and an awesome gymnast and inspiration. I know being so tall has affected your gymnastics and was part of the reason you didn't do Elite, and I'm sure it frustrates you at times, but just remember, God made you just as you are for a reason. Nice to see Blakely and more of the family making a cameo too. Can't wait to see what you've got coming up. I hope there's some new original songs coming amongst much more fun. Take care Whitney. Enjoy England, Germany and your "One in a Million" premieres and Q &A's. Wish I could be there. đđđđ
love this
Wait, she does do elite right? I mean she is in Georgia Elite? Or did I understand it wrong?
@@marie3745 yes Georgia Elite Gymnastics is her gym but they don't all do the Elite program. At present I don't think many at all are Elite. Whitney said in an Insta post she didn't do Elite because she was to tall (I think there are limits to the adjustment of apparatus in Elite), but I think it may have also been because of her OCD and 3 elbow surgeries. I believe she would've done really well in Elite if things were different.
@@dag067 oh okay, thank you
What actually draws me to you Whitney, is how you are true to yourself and dare to stay authentic while so many expectations come your way. That testifies incredible strength and it's what distinguishes the good from the great. I hope you will be able to keep to that through all of your dreams. You are talented in many ways.
Hi Whitney, that voiceover was hilarious! đ And I wouldn't call it a bad met, you did your best possible. Congratulations to Nationals as a beam specialist!! đ Looking forward to see you in Munich at the Filmfest. Is there a Q&A for "One in a million" on wednesday, the 29th? Greetings from Germany đ©đȘ, Susanne
even though you were feeling bad you still did so well and your such and inspiration. i can't wait for the nationals vlog!!!!! PLS POST IT SOON!!!!
Congrats on nationals! Loved the thoughts you had while doing your events and skills. your response to dean Lewis was epic. I am super excited to see the documentary whenever itâs available online. Your bro is def ultra gifted at drums. Your fam are super high achievers. Way to be strong. Going to find Delaneyâs channel to congratulate her.
Love love love the commentary!!! So refreshing! The sound effects were awesome too!!
Watching videos like this really makes me remember how rough of a sport it is. Even though I have so many good memories from gymnastics, it def wasnât worth all of the pain and injuriesđ«€
i forgot how much goes on behind a performance. thank you for sharing your thoughts and feelings. gymnastics is seriously the hardest sport ever. you did great! rest up â€ïž
Loved the commentary. I hope that you do more of it!
loved this video! your grandma was so cute!! and the voiceover idea was really cool
Hi Whitney!!!!! I'm a HUGE fan. I have been watching you for a really long time! You help me through so many mental blocks and other things too!
Edit* Also great job on making nationals for beam !!!!!
Too*
@@ericabercrombie3518 not the corrections đ
@@ericabercrombie3518 There. You happy? đ
Those blips had me rolling LOL. I feel you, Whitney. You have an awesome mindset. The voiceover and sound effects were epic too. Itâs relatable and great storytelling.đđđŸđïž
Glad you enjoyed it!
@@WhitneyBjerken You always rock Whitney! I always enjoy your content. Youâre an awesome musician too! I play guitar too. We gotta jam and collab one day! ROLL TIDE!đ€đđđŸđž
Okay but like does anyone else take like an extra long time to find their number on vault just so you can catch your breath and make it look like your doing something so you donât have to salute
Yassssss
This is one of my favourite videos you've posted đ. Granted, you didn't have the best meet BUT I just loved your voice over of the meet, and that you could put a positive spin on it. If you get lemons, you make lemonade, eh. â€ïžPs I really hope you win the song chorus thingie, wouldn't that be awesome?!
i haven't watched your videos in a long time, and this feels absolutely refreshing, i've watched your videos since you were i think on level 4 or 5 i think? so much love for you
Even though you felt terrible, you got through the meet and still looked amazing! Smiling through the tough times is what makes you a champ. Be kind to yourself! Your body has been through a lot of gymnastics beatings! (My chiropractor told me yesterday how gymnastics does as much impact on the body as does football)! You are amazing! Never forget that :).
The commentary is greatđeveryone has their bad days and congrats on getting to nationals
Loved the voiceover! Congrats Whitney for making it to Regionals !!!
Great video Whitney. I hope that in a future video we get to see how you and your mum reacted when you found out you were going to open for Dean Lewis in Atlanta. Loved Blakely's glasses btw. I'm looking forward to the time we can get to see One in a Million here in Australia, I hope you are enjoying that whole experience, I'm sure you are.
Whitney youâre so good ! If this is a bad day then you should be proud of yourself ! Keep smashing it đ
I'd say Houston was a little excited to see you. Congrats on powering through Regionals. And that verse you wrote was fire đ„đ„đ„
Pleaseee post more vlogs!! Keep going Whitney, you're amazing
this vid is one of my fav so far, love u whit
I loved the voice-over hahaha it was hilarious and you still did great at the meet even if it wasn't your best â€â€â€
Th voice over was so funnY! Literally curse words makes everything 10x more funny đ
I have looked at you since day one and this video made me feel so good to see that Iâm not alone đ€Šââïžgymnastic is really hard on mentality and I always talk to my self the same way I was laughing thinking that Iâm doing the same thing as you !and meeting like this do happen sometimes and we need to accept it đIâm really proud of you and you are helping me every day for my gymnastic motivation
blakleyâs scream TOOK ME OUT đđđđ
Iâve been waiting FOREVER for you to post a new vid!!!!!!
I really liked the voice over! It is nice to know what you are thinking and even if I was never nor will ever be a gymnast, you pointed out things I would not have seen that you thought you could do better. I can relate as I did compete in an individual sport. Keep it up :)
You did fine!! Congrats on an amazing season!
Honestly I loved the voiceover, it made a lot more entertaining so definitely came out how you wanted it.
The GOAT back at it, we all love it!!!
I honestly really liked the voice over, it's really interesting to kind of see what's going on behind, how u feel etc.! Really cool video, thanks for sharing!!:)
"whoo. don't cry."
...
"don't cry."
me too, whitney, me toođ
Thank You Whitney. It was a fun video.đčđčLots of hugs from Swedenâ€â€
At least you are practiced enough to make it through! Bad meets happen, and Iâm sorry it was regionals. Your floor was still fun and I liked your vault!
Could not wait for this video! đ
I loved the voiceover - it was so funny đ
You don't win them all, it makes the wins and the best days worth it đ€·ââïž loved the voice over, really made me chuckle đ
I made it to regionals and nationals and I was so scared but I got 4th all around for regionals and 1st all around for nationals, you did good!!!!
congratulations !
@@keti.rg.editzzz thanks
You did it!! It wasnât your best day, but u pushed though all your injuries and pain and you did the best you could do in this moment! Thatâs strong!!
I thank you for being very real! I have twin daughters, level 7, and they need to know that everyone has bad meets, sometimes on the bigger stages. You have to smile, you have to let it go and move on! So thank you for not just showing perfection!
*my coach is disappointed*
âme too Peteâ đ
i dont know how you can fake a smile at meets that dont go how you want. I was a competitive baton twirler-my last competition was the 18th and I had never done so bad. It is SO hard to pick up the baton after dropping a trick and not look upset or pissed (especially if it was a trick you did all the time in practice). I have a hard time smiling during the routines as it is, because my anxiety disorder makes me feel sick and light headed the entire time, but when the routine doesn't go how you want, it makes it that much harder. Props to you girly!!
Hi Whitney! I'm so happy that you made a new video! And I'm happy for you that you got feedback from Dean Lewis (your mother's boyfriendđđ )! This meet wasn't that bad but the next one will be much better! Your commĂšntary sounds like your thoughts in that moment. I love it! (Your fan since 2017)
Brilliant,I love the voice over, hope you feel better soonđđđđxx
Hi, Whitney and Happy Friday!đđđđđ. Long time no see! I'm so happy that you're foot is healing and ready for the regionals. I'm impressed!đđđđđđđđđ. So, good luck and I'll be praying for you!đđđđđđđđđđ·đđđđđđđđđââââââđ
Whitney you are a perfectionist, and I am one too. Give yourself some slack as your balance beam was absolutely beautiful. Your floor was also amazing and given that you were injured, I have to say that that meet was a very good one. I hope you give your body time to repair itself and I know that your will knock everyone's socks off at Nationals. In addition, your lyrics almost made me cry; they were so good and Dean lewis better watch out because your verse was killer. Great job! Keep it up!
Honestly, I thought you did amazing for being hurt. I know what itâs like to feel like crap and have to compete. (I was an Irish dancer) and for everything going on with your body during the meet, you held it together amazingly. You are always your own worst critic and you know your capabilities but you honestly have nothing to be ashamed of. You were amazing with the circumstances!! Canât wait to see the Nationals video :)
Considering how bad you were feeling, you really didn't do all that poorly. Loved your commentary! Also liked the slapping sounds you added for each high five haha
Hi Whitney, I hope you are doing better. I just wanted to say, that your voice over was hilarious!!! Would love you to do it more often. I wish you good luck for nationals and I really look forward to your documentary. Greetings from Germany!!!
It's awesome you include your family in your videos. Good luck at Nationals!
Clearly it's been awhile since you posted this but I was missing ya so I just clicked on a random one & really enjoyed this... I miss you making regular vids!!!
Yes! Another video, I was waiting
omg I love your editing!!
Congratulations! I knew you made nationals as a wild card. My son was there - I was hoping to see you compete in person....it was hard to coordinate the boys and girls competitions.
Love your great personality Whitney. Donât ever change!
Omg I love your cat! I donât have a cat anymore but when I see yours it immediately cheers me up! â€ïžâ€ïžâ€ïž
Yesss regionals!!! You got this Whitney!!! đ„łđ„łđ„ł
awesome jam session!!! you did great! :-)
Youâre awesome Whitney and your guitar is great! â€ïžđž
I love this so much đ
I love how even though you were upset you still kept a good thought
I love your videos. I am a swim coach. Also did gymnastics growing up. And I wanted to tell you that you are doing awesome! And it is very hard to compete when youâre in pain. Youâre not always going to have your best meet no matter how hard you train. You have to hold your head up high and get back to training and focus on the next meet. Iâm so happy you made it for beam. Your amazing! Also Iâm a huge boxer fan. I have a boxer named Roo and had 2 prior to him, Rebel and Oscar. Boxers are the best and they are always so excited when you come home to them. Houston is a beautiful boy and so cute and so are you. Keep up the hard work!
The voice over was so funny!
Finally!! Can't wait to see it and enjoy your trip in UK!
love the voiceoverrrr
I loved your commentary. Yes, we all have a bad day. Donât cry.
Loved your commentary!
Hii Whitney!!
I just wanted to say that you are an AMAZING gymnast, I'm a really big fan of you and don't worry about that meet! We all make mistakes and you still kept going strong till now! (About Blakely going to Greece i am going to say that i am from there as well!! I got so excited)
Also good luck to Blakely! đ
Loved the voiceover part!
loved the voice over!
I loved this style of video đ„°
THE VOICEOVER WAS SO FUNNY LMFAO
You did so good still and what was your bars score? And The fact that you bailed on your series and wobbled a coulple times on beam and still got a 9.5 is astonishing to me Ily you did great đâ€
Do more voice overs in comps!!! So entertaining
ILYSM IVE MISSED U it feels like Iâve missed a best friend between posts đ«đ«
It makes me very happy watching a very worthy young Person like you!!
You're voice over was brilliant. So fun, and funny.
Watching the first 5 minutes, your past 2 weeks remind me of Alexander in the awesome kids book "Alexander's Terrible Horrible No Good Very Bad Day". đ
