The animation in 2 is so much better than 1.
Thank you for this, the animation between these two is night & day.
Seeing NASB2 next to NASB makes me realize how ass the models and animations are

As someone who played these two alot in the first game and doesn't have all-star brawl 2 yet, they look EYONS better in the sequel it isn't even a contest. Also appreciate the fact they have ACTUAL costumes.

It’s so funny how bored the announcer in brawl 1 is so bored compared to brawl 2. He’s just like “ren and stimpy…”
He just seems sad that you picked the character while in NASB2 he’s like. YES, YOU PICKED MY FAVORITE ONE!
As a very deeply aware and detail oriented, long time massive fan of Ren and Stimpy, it's absolutely undeniable that Brawl 2 represents these two far better and much more accurately to the original cartoon.
The only things in 1 i like better are the strong dash attack where stimpy gets swung overhead, and the winning poses and faces during their dance
So cool seeing SpongeBob fight Ren and Stimpy
Please make more of these for the other characters.
They're super helpful for art refs and just fun to watch
Is it just me or did some of ren and Stimpys animations look unfinished in the first game, some look either incomplete or jarring
Well to be fair, some of most animations of the movesets from other characters felt too fast, or rushed. And the level 9 cpu are very annoying when facing them, and hard to hit, especially some of cpu characters grab spamming too. Glad they toned it down on 2, I find it more enjoyable to practice around with my mains.
I think it also has to do with some animations being like that in the show. The flute dance taunt (which I can't believe they used since it's from APC) looks as choppy in the original scene as the game
@@ricardofredes9527 yeah with these two theres a lot of weird jank in their animations in the first game thats there intentionally since their show is notoriously Like That

I do hope people give 2 a chance. It'd be a shame to see a company that clearly cared about this IP and worked to make this better than the first, only too watch it fail.
The thing both of the games get wrong imo is stimpy's animation. Nasb 2 does a lot better, but he still just doesnt emote as much.

That's a bad take. They looked horrible in 1. The animation is not only so much better in 2, but in 1 they didn't even look like they were supposed to in most animations. 2 just flat out represents them far more accurately to the cartoon.

why couldn’t they get the other original characters in the second game that is from the first all star brawl game
according to what I understand oblina and cat dog if he was going to return but due to lack of time, oblina was discarded and cat dog had several problems when trying to program them
Because they would have too many redundant characters of too many similar types.
Why Stimpy doesn't talk?
If he speaks alone, the voice actor can no longer replicate Stimpy's voice very well, which is why he sounds more like Ren.
He has voice lines but he is voiced by the same person as Ren
