How exactly did you get that DAS counter in the upper left? It would be great to have when practicing.

That diagram in the video is wrong. I was talking NES Tetris with Kitaru the other day when I brought up that diagram and he noticed the I piece should be able to go one row higher on level 19 because when you rotate it at spawn only two cells are visible, not three.

How do i charge DAS if i put one piece in the middle and want the next to the left? I lose DAS all the time, and without it Level 19 is hardly playable.

Ok here’s a question if it’s a sixteenth of a frame before the first shift, how are you ment to ensure that the block will move in time to where u need it, considering in retrospect a sixteenth is a long time to wait given that on the later stages where DAS is crucial ur barely getting time to breath let alone move a block. Not only that there’s lack and dropped inputs to consider which could mess up the timing

You charge Das, so you don't have to wait 16 frames for every piece.

Yes but that doesn’t really answer my question. Ok
I’ll rephrase, if you have to charge DAS, surely there’s a chance of it failing to charge due to a. Game speed, which reduces time to charge DAS and the unfortunate rare issue of input drops since u need the inputs to charge DAS

@@jasonjellie9342 If you see the CTWC games, you will hear the commentators mention players losing DAS...it is very possible to lose the charge...you have to keep recharging it...not sure how exactly, I'm new to this and still learning...there is also Hypertapping if your fingers can tap quick enough.

It's almost an obsolete technique nowadays with all of the hypertappers.

Now you got people rolling. Which is more efficient than hyper tapping
