The grandfather of all modern Lamborghini supercars; The Countach is an icon, a fast car and a damn good looking one at that. Every V10 and V12 Lamborghini that came after would not have been possible if it weren't for the success of this space-age supercar.
The Countach is a Tier 3 Supercar in Hot Pursuit. It's far from the best in the tier but it can be good but only if you can master its attributes. Its raw top speed is on the bottom half of its tier, couple that alongside less than average acceleration and a pretty fragile damage threshold and the car already sounds like a challenge. However the Countach compensates for its shortcomings with controllable handling and a powerful nitrous boost that can push it well past the car's top speed with ease.
In terms of its history in the SCPD, the Countach was originally the primary interceptor vehicle used by the SCPD Sheriff's Department. At the end of their original service life and with the introduction of the Dodge Viper and Chevrolet Corvette Z06, the Countach was retired from the Sheriff's Department. However, a few remain in service under Legacy Squadron (The SCPD's Classic Car Division), upgraded to the same standards of the rest of the SCPD's Rapid Deployment class.
