Hi! My name is Susanne. I am a Christian mom of 3 over 50. Are you struggling to lose weight and feel fit and youthful like you once were? Me too!
    My story:
Until I was about 45 years old maintaining my weight was relatively easy. For the past 6 years no matter what I tried I was not able to lose more than a couple of pounds and then I would ultimately gain them back. I felt very frustrated and hopeless.
So back in December my weight loss game was changed when I started learning more about insulin resistance and other obstacles that I believe were making it very difficult for me to lose any weight over 50. I created this channel to help other women lose weight by sharing my experiences. I hope you'll join me in striving to feel better at 50 than you ever have.
To date, I have lost 14 pounds in a 6 month period, the first 10 I lost in the first month and I have been slowly but surely lost an additional 4 pounds. My goal is to lose 40 lbs total which would put me at 130 pounds.
    Best of luck!

It’s great that you’ve worked out what’s the best for your body👍🏾
As someone who has been struggling with weight gain, and trying Intermittent Fasting, I’ve finally worked out that I need to eat to suit my body. I still do IF but the hours that suit me.
Praying and fasting (to humble myself before God - not IF) plus Intermittent Fasting and recognising what “junk foods” I can and can’t eat is helping me shift the weight👏🏾
    God bless you🇬🇧

Keto doesn't sound like it's working for you at all if you keep having cheat meals and going off the diet. Keto isn't better than any other diet and you are already counting calories so might as well have what you like sustainably in your calorie deficit cause that's how you lose weight, by being in a deficit. Carbs hold water, the more carbs you eat the more you'll see it on the scale after a carb heavy meal but that's just water weight which will fall off you didn't actually gain weight. Keto is good but it's not sustainable and you can still lose weight while eating carbs and feel just as good. Heavy restriction doesn't work long term.
