The minor quirks that were destroyed are inconsequential and serve no purpose to the story. They are not even named. I would agree with him if she had destroyed something like his regeneration or decay quirk, but she didn't. That's all he uses in the final battle. They serve no purpose to the story and it was just a flashy fight.
The Reflect quirk was a problem, and it was gone forever after this. Also, Shigaraki lost the Super Regeneration quirk and could have been killed, but he stole a new one from a Noumu lol
The greatest impact was making that hole in Shigaraki's inner world.
@@Horacio_Poggi Reflect tanks your stamina. It's a loss con just as much as being hit lol, its a fodder raiser quick(something that can make fodder opponents fairly dangerous.) but that's it. Hell, Nagant was landing hits and damaging him even prior to him losing it so it clearly wasn't that big an issue. The entire Nagant sequence is horribly written and should be grounds for canceling most manga frankly.
The fact that she lost while having THE plot power in her hands, just because the villain has identity issues is a joke. One of the worst moments I've seen in anime, this was such a bad writing I'm ashamed of the fact people still watch this 😭
I mean to be fair it Was a woman in an important role... only one thing was possible past that in this manga.
I am also one of those who dropped it after that point... Like all the weak ass characters get plot armour then a genuinely cool character with a cool set of powers dies in 2 chapters because the villain is just plot armour and haxx central, like WHO TF HAS THE INFINITE HEAL QUIRK HAHAH

I think what upset me the most about Stars and Stripes is how Horikoshi kinda inadvertently shut down any potential exciting developments in world building. Stripes is already an exciting character on paper, but first real glimpse in seeing hero society outside of Japan and its to serve as a plot device. And even now Shigaraki still feels like a “Japan-only” problem in the grand scheme of things.
I think it goes hand in hand with complaints about how the UA students are all still first years when a time skip could’ve helped the story progress more. The story feels small scope and insular with decisions like this. And it’s just frustrating.
Pretty much, feels like naruto with presenting all the hidden villages and not exploring any of em.
But horikoshi is tired asf by now so makes sense why he wouldnt wanna overexpand the world cuz it would be 10 more years of story lol
Feels rushed. Could of expanded the world building by introducing her earlier on as another successor to All Might in the U.S.. They could've at least built her up as a background character mentioned here and there throughout the series to at least justify her absence.
Yeah, honestly, most of the first year ua students should already have their goddamn hero licences at this point. With how many villain threats they have dealt with and power they have accumulated.
@orbboom6119 Naruto did a much better job at exploring other villages and clans. Mha doesn't even try in any way to do world building.
There’s a reason all might was also taken out of the story…
He was already getting weaker bro
@@jasonblack2477Just for Deku, thats why the anime SUCKS. They nerfed him to make the MC have more potential 😂
@@WillisAmak no? One for all gets stronger. Deku would habe surpassed him. His 100 percent smash was already stronger. All might should be dead... But nah small might is still around
Reading this part in the manga pissed me off lol
Ikr? It's like, what was the point? What a waste.
They introduced her in the manga to kill her off. That was disappointing.
Honestly they should have introduced her earlier. She had so much potential.
She could have made a rule to make herself phase, teleport, or make a barrier.
@@Silvercomet251she could have made a rule that said Shigaraki can no longer touch things
The problem with this is, this was for me the second time mha fumbled great potential. The first was on the Villains side with Redestro and the liberation front. It would have been cool to see a 3rd party that were more a chaotic neutral vs heroes and Villains. But instead, like stars, we had to have them be shigaraki hype fodder.
Losing his quirks doesn't seem as punishing when we know he will just get a bunch of new ones.
I don't care what argument you make killing a good muscle mommy character early is a cardinal sin It will never be forgiven
But if I can be objective here I feel like the major issue with stars and stripes they show her off way to late if she show up early and we got to know the character it would of been worth the sacrifice but her showing off here and leaving just make her a living plot Device to too Nerf shigaraki
I can agree with this. It could have been cool to see her a bit more before this moment in the story.
Important woman aren't made to last in BNHA lmao.
I agree KOL great video . I didn't drop the manga when this happened though I was upset. I still was well aware of Star's sacrifice so I couldn't be Mad at all. I'm sure you called it already but What she did is Pivotal to how we're gonna be handling shigaraki later💪🏾💯🔥😎
Ehh not really. Helps somewhat. Absolutely wouldn’t call
It pivotal
It didn't upset me. But it was like, why introduce her and then kill her off basically right after? They tried to stuff so much characterization for her mid fight. But it's such a waste of time cuz we don't get ANY time to enjoy her, so why even make her so likeable. Might as well just make her a flat character
Keep up the great work and videos KOL love the video
If Star actually met up with the heroes, then this upcoming fight SHOULD end in a few minutes.
Let’s be honest it could have been written better than a one clash. I’m not saying she had to win but it felt like a waste of a character build up for the sake of “giving time”
Honestly if she woulda said “new order will go to izuku midoryia” we’d probably be getting a better ending
Damn, did the footage get corrupted or something? Lot of jittering
lots of bad moments in the series so hard to say
exactly, it wasn’t just one thing
She took out a bunch of his quirks, but does it actually amount to anything? I mean, will we see that he tries to use a quirk that no longer exists, or did she take out 100 quirks that we never saw and were never going to see anyway
I still believed she shouldn’t had died.
Everything is a plot device if you boil it down
This statement makes no sense, the point is things should not break the 4th wall or readers immersion
All movies have actors and is all scripted but people still cry and experience real emotions when the acting is good enough not break immersion
When the acting breaks immersion thaats the issue the same for plot devices it's about immersion breaking
It was a blatant plot device, which is the worst thing any writer can put into the story.
I thought I’d missed a few episodes going by how quickly it all went down. And then I was like I bet the anime has rushed it. But naw it was written like this in the manga.
Main issue with her death here is that she is not only a #1 hero in the world but has a direct connection to All Might. To suddenly kill her off, for something that didn't truly matter is the issue. They go "Oh she bought us another week" but that means nothing when you could have just written it to be a week later that Shiguraki's body would be complete. Character sacrifices only work when it accomplishes something more than what can just be adjusted with 3 words in a sentence. If she bought a month, then yeah sure, you might be able to argue thats significant enough you can't just adjust the plot naturally and have it make sense with that gap, but a week nah.
Throughout all of my years watching Anime you can almost always see a specific dislike for Americans when they are presented. Its sad however there seems to be trauma in their minds from the war which is understandable.
LOL it’s not because of War, it’s because even right now at this point America government still contol Japanese economic in some way if you know you know. How’s most Japanese like America?
Started a fight they couldn’t win and now they throwing a fit to this very day but hey Okinawa is pretty nice us base now😂
Nah, this was because she was a woman, not American. All might did his rookie years in the US.
As an anime only i don't see how this is a big enough problem to drop the entire series. She's a minor character. If anything this added to the tragedy of the starting of this arc which adds to the stakes of this final act, its sad knowing that Deku will never fight together with her but that's the reality
It is not just this one event which made people dislike MHA even more. It's soo many moments, character interactions and characters being stupid and plot armor that made people upset
It's not this moment alone but this was the culmination of many questionable story choices that made me have to step away. Might give the anime a chance tho at some point
She was great, i had hoped she had been a bit longer on the show but the signs of her dying where all there from the start. Hope you keep making MHA content my dude.
Some of the worst writing in manga history yeah. There was 0 tension because you knew where it was going. She wouldn't take out the main villain obviously and it had 0 impact because this was the first time you saw her. I wish MHA was better tbh. It started good.
i feel like the ambiguous nature of AFO may have also added to why people hated this moment. we know star destroyed hella quirks but how many? which ones? how many did AFO have in the first place? yes, she destroyed reflect which did a bit but bro still had wings and regen to let him live. did she destroy any busted quirks that AFO had? we dont know since we are never given a good idea of what AFO has in his arsenal since usually he just pulls out whatever for plot. i understand that some may say “he has too many so it would be too hard to realistically lay out everything he has” but i feel like thats a major flaw in AFO’s quirk writing-wise and leads to so much confusion/disappointment/dissatisfaction when it comes to the writing choices in MHA
I didn't really care for her death because it was so inconsequential that made me wonder why even include a character like hers if she's going to go out like that... It was meh asf
It happens to another character in another popular shonen later too but this character had a lot of build up and then boom dead already…I think they do it to show a cool character and kill for shock value and you can add it to the story as a major role of sacrifice
Star had zero build up, this is the first time you see her lmao.
She should’ve showed up in the final fight (currently going on still) and helped them win. Losing to shigaraki was complete ass and served zero purpose.
Yeah, me when the most powerful quirk loses to a mild identity crisis LMAO.(It'd have still effected her, the rules of the quirk needed to be breaker for him to win, actual plot armor.)
If horikoshi actually showed her much much earlier in the series it woukdnt have been much of an issue. Like imagine class 1-A takes a trip to USA to study under some usa heroes and learn how things work overseas there they meet the usa number 1 hero stars and stripes and we could of had an arc where deku and the gang learn under her and take with them new skills as well as the realization that being a hero doeant stop at ones own border.
The arc that could have been. Seriously, MHA just feels like a lot of wasted potential. I lost interest in the plot and characters after this. Just knew it wasn't going to have the development and payoff I hoped for.
Imagine if we had got that Arc instead of Class 1a vs Class 1b ROFL infinitely better
I agree 👍
Yes!! def need more My hero content!!!
I was already teetering during the war arc but after she died I was completely out
Yeah Stars and Stripes going so early was a big let down. One of the worst parts of the manga in my opinion.
Yes, they made the American hero seem like fodder when she undoubtedly had the best quirk in the entire series. There's so many ways she could've ended that fight in ten seconds or less but bad writing interfered.
Is it rly tho? The limitation of her quirk were made pretty obvious. Also depending on the translation it’s implied AFO baited her, knowing tht it wouldn’t work on them
@@rafaelleandro96 Thats because most of the series takes place in japan and if you wsnted every hero in the world to matter then the seried would far far longer. She did actually do something but she didnt have a long presence but I dont think this is as bad as people are sayong because its not like this character was built up for ages in the first place.
@@chesedp2o23 I agree with this sentiment as well. I THINK people wanted more out of her than what we got though which is fair.
If losing to the strongest villain in the series up to that point made her seem like fodder to anyone they are actually a lost cause. They she lost was pretty reasonable.
To be honest, it wasn’t that deep. Was it disappointing? Sure
Was the worst written thing? Not by a long shot
I think the MHA fanbase blew this whole thing way out of proportion
I don't get why people were upset that she died in the fight. AFO and Shigi have never been merciful, they kill most people they come across. I get she was hyped up to be this big badass but let's be real... it would be incredibly MORE disappointing if Star took him out or gave him the quirk just to be a body nearby. Like... she did some awesome stuff had her time and gave the team more time to prep. She is the reason theres a final season and not a slaughter. Some yall really just dont get writing and it irks me
It’s bad writing, you just don’t know what good writing is.
@@Ignoreduser Bad writing would be giving star any agency other than a fun fight to stall off the final arc. No one wants a random character with god tier powers to come in and save the day at the very end. That's bad writing. Maybe read a book or two bro.
@@defiasremix4185 Bad writing is introducing a plot device and then removing it because you're too lazy to get your villain organically where he needs to be. No one wants a god tier character to come in randomly and die as a plot device either. And we knew she would lose as well - giving the fight absolutely zero stakes. Horikoshis writing quality has been on a freefall for some time now.
I dropped it like maybe ten chapters after this happened. Little things that I usually don't have a problem with started to bother me.
The fight itself was great. The way it was executed was not.
Big difference between watching the anime and reading manga is the year break between season 6 and 7. Watchers had plenty of time to digest the new Shigaraki, but there was only like 20 chapters between Shigaraki getting his powerup and absolutely decimating the entire Japanese hero society and Star and Stripe coming in and nerfing Shigaraki. It all happened way too fast and felt like Horikoshi realized he made Shigaraki unbeatable
yes but the ending of the series is worse. MAJOR fairy tail energy
Haven’t watched the video but yes this legit the chapter I dropped and I haven’t read it since and I was super invested basically day 1 even when people said arcs were bad I liked but the small arc before this fight and this fight o was done

It's only gonna get worse from here.
5000 a month just for a request is crazy XDDD that's a whole car..
Star was the last time I was invested in the manga. Haven't cared much for it after they killed her off.
What got me while reading the manga was that I did not really think Stars was built up as a character and she was only used to just make AFO/Shiga “weaker” by removing a ton of his broken quirks that were stolen. As if Horikoshi did not believe that Class 1A nor the Japanese pro heroes were strong enough to take down this giga antagonist without emergency nerfing him.
We got a cool fight in the end which was animated beautifully but Stars was used incorrectly and it came off as bad story writing and unable to think of a way to handle his already impossible to beat villain.
To be fair, Shigaraki is supposed to be a world level threat. If all it took to bring him and All for One down were the heroes from one nation...ANY one nation, that kinda makes the villains look like they aren't that big of a deal in the grand scheme of things. Having a foreign hero contribute to the ultimate downfall of the big bad helps to sell the idea that the threat this villain represented truly was world class, so much so that other nations couldn't afford to just watch while Japan took care of everything.
If it was All for One who defeated her, THEN it would’ve made sense. But for her to not fully out class the kid?? Come on maaaaaan… they should’ve stalemated them at most with her not dying.
Bro when Are you going to Japan

She didn't even remove any Quirks from him other than the only one that was ever introduced in that fight. It's laughable. Imagine makin' a character who only exists for a specific purpose, but doesn't even do that much.
They should’ve ended season 6 with this fight instead of starting the new season with this important fight
I mean, I expected it even when reading the manga, but I loved her while she was here.
I honestly just thought of something!!!!! it appeared in the anime that Star destroyed most of his quirks, but what if "destroying" means those quirks went back to their rightful owners? in the anime those quirks looks like shadowy human figures. if they went back to people then the girl from the pussycats squad would've had her quirk back? AND if so, there was a theory back in the past where All for one took Deku's quirk when he was a kid. What if one of those quirks Star "destroyed" was Deku's original quirk? this might be off the top but seems interesting to me so far. -if its right or wrong please don't tell me-
Shigi has copies of the quirks AFO had stored up, not the originals. The Doctor was storing and coping quirks for nomus and AFO. The only original quirk he was confirmed to be given after his incubation was "All For One", while AFO has a copy of his quirk now in his original body.
I wish we had had an arc with a study abroad in America.
That way we would have gotten to meet her.
Which would have made her loss more impactful similar to helping Ace hurt more because we had had time with him.
You could also have better established the ectomorph racism plot line here by having the main villain be a racist.
This would give deku more time to train his new quirks and that means during the going rouge part of his plot-line his power development would not have felt so rushed.
Frankly I pretend this arc happened and it makes me enjoy the series and the ending way more.
I basically pretend the start of the movie is the premise for why they go. And move from there.
You could have it be deku Bakugou and a few of the other students or just the whole class.
But I get the author was overworked and tired and seemed to just want to be finished so I get that we likely lost some potential plot-lines, so I certainly don’t hold it against him.
This is where I dropped the manga, I haven't read it since she died.

Too bad it had zero setup and we knew the outcome in advance. She could've been cool if she was used as Anything but a shitty plot device.
I bit that if she wasn't an American hero the heat that the author got from usa fans wouldn't be that big , still a weird sacrifice imo...

I read this fight in the manga. Don't remember anything from it other than her standing on a jet, and HAVING HER ABILITY BECOME POISONOUS INSIDE OF SHIGARAKI
That was a TOP TIER IQ CHESS MOVE!
Didnt watch MHA much after horngirl got rescued. Is it good? I didnt like nose guy.
I didn't like it when it happened, or Jiraiyas death in Shippuden, or Ace/Whitebeard in One Piece. BUT in all sagas it was necessary. All of those characters were simply too OP, and would've stunted the growth of the protagonist. In MHA because of her death the entire class 1A, plus others got opportunities to shine during the final battles when many complained of no screen time. Shigaraki and One for All combined were OP enough to end the whole series prior to her death...She simply balanced the playing field with the ultimate sacrifice.
Tbf, if Star didn't show up, Shigaraki would have been ready to take on the heroes the next day after perfecting his body. And the heroes had no counter plan against AFO. The extension was important, especially for stuff thats *spoilery* to happen. Plus, her quirk is TOO broken to help in the final fight. It would have made things too easy. But that's just me. I think MHA is overhated to hastily by others, but whatever 🤷🏾♂️
I dont think people dropped the manga because of star's death. Funny coincidence but i also stopped reading around this time. I feel that the story just wasnt very compelling up to that point and even after. The series has its great moments and things that it did very well as a shounen, but it just wasnt enough to keep readers yearning for more each week. Imagine just one thing: All Might had given One For All to Kathleen instead of Deku... imagine...
It probably would have drained the life from her really quickly due to how absolutely OP the quirk was after having 8 users. The quirk would have tragically been wasted on her, since there's little chance she would have lived long enough to take full advantage of it.
@@DevilHunter1994
Is there evidence for that?
Because All For One doesn't have, and never demonstrated, that limit, as far as I know.
It would defeat the purpose of One For All to have that kind of extreme drawback if its ability to accumulate power were so unstable and taxing on the user generationally - the power would become impossible to receive eventually, it's illogical (FYI, I dropped the manga toward the end of the first fight/war between the evolved Shigaraki and Deku - I couldn't take the manga seriously from that point on, so if there's lore about the limits of One For All, I don't know the info).
On the basis of your logic, Deke should have imploded the moment he received One For All - no question. "INSTANT KO" 🥴💩💀
One could certainly make the argument that whoever came after her would be dealing with IMMENSE power becaise of how incredible her quirk is - more than the total of all the other stored quirks combined.
But, for All For One to be able to store limitless power, and All For One, the antithesis, to not be able to do the same makes no sense as to why All For One would want that power in the first place and spend decades trying to get it.
Furthermore, Kathleen's quirk os actually the ultimate tool, hypothetically, for mastering One For All, so I can't agree with you AT ALL - 0%. She could literally program that quirk from the inside and exponentially progress her mastery and control of it - possibly within one day or several weeks.
Kathleen was already comparable to All Might. To say she would expire is a weird point to make.
Not to mention, her own quirk would/should increase in power tenfold, like replacing coal power plants with nuclear to power New York.
New York would never experience a blackout again.
Kathleen was limited by the capacity of her own quirk's power. One For All would have solved that easily by increasing her capacity and several times over as well as giving her quirk SO much more to work with.
@@DarrenWilsonOne There is. Most users of One For All died young while in battle, so this drawback wasn't discovered for quite some time, but I believe it was the fourth user of One for All that made it a point to avoid confronting All For One at all, because he knew that One For All had not become strong enough yet to actually stand a chance. He made the decision to live in hiding, strengthening One For All before passing it on to the next generation. Despite avoiding conflict, the fourth user still died at the age of fourty, and when his body was analyzed, it was discovered that he had died of old age. Basically, the strain of having both his original quirk, and One For All contained within him did such immense damage to his body that it caused rapid aging. After learning this, the other vestiges of One For All realized that One For All's true power could only be wielded by someone who was originally quirkless, people like All Might, and Deku.
The body of a quirkless person can contain the power of One For All, since they were originally an empty vessel. Their body will eventually learn to adjust to the immense power of One For All with time, and training. When someone already has a quirk of their own though, and inherits One For All, it's essentially a death sentence. It causes an overflow that their body can't handle, and that overflow eventually kills them. This is why Deku is referred to as the last user of One for All, because quirkless people are becoming so rare, it's unlikely that he would ever be able to find another person who could inherit the power safely. So now, the pressure is on him to finally put an end to this war with All For One, because if he can't manage it, there likely won't ever be another chance.
As for why All For One doesn't fall victim to this drawback, I assume that he has stolen certain quirks that could be used specifically for the purpose of repairing, or negating the damage done to his body, allowing him to take on all these powerful quirks without having to concern himself as much with the consequences of actually containing all that power. It's also possible that since his body's natural ability was always to steal quirks, perhaps his body was just naturally conditioned to make use of his ability from the beginning.
@@DevilHunter1994 Thanks for explaining all of that. Makes a lot of sense. And I definitely missed out on a lot!
I'm still curious, based on your explanation, whether or not Kathleen could have found a solution against the inherent drawback of One For All, because her quirk is uniquely suited to be something of an analytical tool and a sort of remote against and for quirks, and all things in the natural world.
However, given the strength of her quirk, I can agree, it's possible her death would have been hastier than other One For All users who had preexisting quirks.
My Hero Academia in itself is wasted potential
I can't believe how hard MHA fell off, I dropped the manga after the war arc
I love Horikoshi and 60% of MHA is amazing, but he took the wrong approach to this series.
There is no reason why Deku should be basically in his first year still, He should have paced the series better or did a real timeskip
too much wasted time on useless characters he never developed properly, wasted good characters, Shigaraki is a terrible main villain.
not having a proper timeskip is a huge problem concerning the pacing and honestly the believability of the series
I agree except for Shigaraki. Blud carries the series
@@user-bt9yh8jn1q Blud is trash, they should’ve lost to the other villain group. They were more interesting.
@@Ignoreduser You can't even name the other villain group lmao nice try buddy
It’s a Japanese series did they really think some random American character was going to come over to Japan and fix everything? I knew she was dead the minute I saw her lol.
Lmfao no he wasnt right
Star literally says shes not on all mights levels
This is far from making the manga droppable, at least for me. She was great for the handful of chapters she was in. I will say it feels like a waste to kill her off after introducing her.
I get why people don’t like it, but I honestly don’t see anything wrong with this part of the story at all. She was introduced into the story at point that made sense (foreign heroes didn’t need to get involved before this, and I love that she was originally shown in the first movie), and the way she lost seems very believable to me. And not just in the same episode as her death, but it’s also shown more throughout the story afterwards that she left a big impact. She was very important to ensuring the heroes would have a fighting chance.
She wasn't originally shown in the movie. It's a complete retcon. That girl had glasses, a different eye and hair color lmao. Don't be That naive. The issue is not her involvement or foreign hero involvement but the fact that she had 0 set up - was a blatant plot device - and we knew the outcome before the fight. Horikoshi couldn't organically get the story where he was so he resulted to inventing random plot devices out of thin air to do so. He completely gave up and guessed that people would eat up whatever he wrote mindlessly anyway.
I mean.. he wasn't entirely wrong.
I dropped MHA after 2 seasons. But this reminds me a bit of Jiraiya's death in Naruto... I seriously considered dropping the Naruto manga after that.
Hell no Jiraiyas death was good. This was just stupid.
@@timdoe8895 I have not watched it so I can't say. I wanted to drop Naruto after Jiraiya's death. He is my favorite Naruto character. Just pointing the similarity of the reaction
Jiraiya's death was done better since he had way more development. This MHA death is way worse, for example imagine if Jiraiya was only introduced in the Pain arc for that battle and died right after 2 episodes.
I have a different perspective, without spoiling I think the way some of the new popular shonen have gone either A) the authors have seen their predecessors and don't want to end up cripples and slave to an industry that doesn't treat them that well, or B) They just simply don't have it in them/ don't care to make long ass stories going 500 plus chs deep and are going for more of a consolidated story focusing on the main plot without filling it with random side quests to fluff up the world that honestly doesn't really matter.
What’s bad about it is…. We shoulda got her fleshed out more…. If you gonna kill a good character quick you gotta make us feel em 1st
The way it affects the fanatics proves its a BEST moment in My Hero Academia!
Does it ?.. I really don't racism and it effects me when its in a manga. Does that make it good now ? This argument is mindless stupid.
Nope
Just like stain.
She doesnt get much screen time but she effects the story alot
She's a blatant poorly written plot device, I hope she has some effect that's All she was included for lol.
@@crazagres1839 yeah in the manga i dont think they like ever show her again
Or reference her
But the anime does change and add new things so most likely all we will get of her is flashbacks
@@YurokiHakugaisha The manga provides the bare minimum backstory for her as well. More won't be done. She was a naked plot device, not even a proper character. Why'd they bother ?
@@crazagres1839 idk i think they just wanted to add a American in the show.
@@YurokiHakugaisha Nah, it was just for the plot device. Americans been around somewhat due to All Might doing his junior years there.
People really don't get that the point of the character was to show the situations where heroes fall short, but leave a legacy that others must seize on. She was a successor to All Might just like Deku, and came far closer to becoming just like him, but thats why she fails.
When people decide to jump on a hate train, its very hard to convince them to get off and re-examine things.
It was bad writing, they hated how she went out. There’s plenty of examples of deaths in anime, people get it - they just hate it.
@@Ignoreduser
How is it bad writing?
People say she didn't fulfill her potential because she died, but her death already served the narrative as well as she could, and the themes of the fight are an exellent bridge to the final arc. She tries to be like All Might and fill his role in society, just like Deku in the previous arc. When being like All Might and trying to win with force fails, she has to find her own way to be a hero, by doing something All Might couldn't do, just like Deku in the final arc.
@@TY-wi1xl True.
You can take out Everything you just said pertaining to Cassie, and apply it to All-Might and Deku's ALREADY RESOLVED character arc.
That's why it's bad writing.
@@TY-wi1xlit's bad because there is no build up to her existence. i would've preferred if we've at least seen her in the earlier stages of the manga.
She tried to fight him one on one and got dusted. I'm surprised she made it 2 episodes
Bro is goofy
People just don’t have reading comprehension to realized afo had more hax, better battle iq and regen that she can’t bypass. She could’ve gambled by killing her squad in a last attack, but instead plan for afo to steal her quirk to destroy him from the inside. She could only use 2 rules at 1 time so she could either protect her body and lose her quirk, or lose her body but make sure afo doesn’t steal her quirks as she destroys hella of his quirks from the inside. I wish we had more screen time with her, in the beginning of the series before she died. But to me it makes sense how she will lose that fight, after seeing the nomu fake out and how he decey underground to dodge that nuke.
Man you don't wanna be bringing up reading comprehension whilst defending MHA...
u didn't say a damn thing except "bullshit copouts to make an excuse to kill her when she should have never been introduced in the first place".
Ngl chief I stopped reading after you said afo had more haxx
@@rasenganmaster101 I’m not writing the story so how could i control how she got introduced? The narrative reasons for the fight was to give all the heroes a extra week to prep before the final fight, and have her take away multiple quirks that afo had a nerf enough so he could lost in the future.
@@Bushflare what do you think the narrative reasons was for this fight was besides introducing a new strong character?
People are just too soft and get buthurt over everything all the time.
Like man.. these people are weak.
I remember when goku got killed when he was fighting Raditz, nobody ever got mad and said: im gonna drop this series.
Never heard anyone say that. Because people weren't soft crybabies like they are nowadays.
