Speaking of Muscle. Shoals, have you any of you yet seen Jennifer Hudson doing Aretha in Respect? in the movie It is a blast. And showing her going into muscle Shoals to work on the music and the whole bit is really really rather delightful. I think you will enjoy it. Jennifer just blows it out of the ballpark. Fantastic.

What do I like about this southern soul CD? Every damn song is raw. And the interpretation is beyond incredible. And ode to Billy Joe is beyond phenomenal. Thank you Lou. This is why we love you and most of all we respect you as a good broad.

A major artist if you haven't been paying attention for the past 30 years. Remember Passionate Kisses? She wrote it and performed it before Mary Chapin Carpenter had a hit with it.
Obviously you don't have a clue as to who Lucinda Williams is. So she never had a day job to quit honey. She didn't need a day job. Her dad was a poet actually he wrote tje poem for when President Clinton was inaugurated the second time. Was her dad's poem. And she's got more talent in her little finger than about 99% of other people. Her voice is getting tastier because she has some health issues but she's always had a raspy voice. Which was one of the thing that endeared her to so many of us that like people with real genuine Emotions within their voice and the range and what they accomplish with it. so please read up and listen up up a little bit more and then you can get back to her and let her know what her day job should be. Maybe she could sing "would you like fries with that honey? Ha ha..all good. You can turn back on your regular music now. I'm sure *NSYNC or some K-pop group or a singer that absolutely doesn't have a clue about life will fill the void. Not.
