Heck yeeeeahhh! I knew these would have to be first thing coming.
The metal tracks are a great upgrade, you can use some super glue to hold the plastic gear on the shaft
🔵🔵🔵👍👍👍😀😀😀🔵🔵🔵
Your video is really attractive.
The rubber pads are for running on pavement or rocky soil. Real tanks used to use them also
👍 Maybe will come other upgrade.
Hi there! I've recently ordered an E1 and as of today I noticed that the metal tracks are publicly available on the WPL site! :D It appears that there is a further upgrade to the drive sprocket - it no longer looks like a cog wheel with teeth. It is now similar to the rear idler wheel except that the two parts are separated by metal pins around the circumference which more positively engage with the track teeth I suppose! Should be stronger..
Hey the new sprocket is due to the issue that keep happening where the teeth would push dirt into the holes on the tracks clogging them. Then would lead to jamming and then gearbox failure.
New ones use the guides on the tracks to engage completely eliminate the holes
@@MrLiamPickering Ah! Thanks for the insight. Makes sense for the RC model :)
@@MrLiamPickering I belive that there are a couple of spare links supplied: I wonder if the track would still stay on and work if one were to add an extra link to give the track a more realistic droop lime the real thing and the photo on WPL's box??
nice video
hi Liam!
What a nightmare, lol 😂
Hi, the metal tracks set came with 2 x front rollers (with 11 x metal pins each) right? How come you didn't fix them?
Your Girlfriend is awesome 🤣🤣
Rosie palm is a dear aint she?
would solike a real one lol.
" Babbles about 'scale'.. proceeds to attach giant bright-orange zip-tie to battery hatch... 🤣 By the by. A Heng Long Gen.6 tank controller fits under the battery box when You cut it out. Cut a hole in the rear compartment, lay a speaker in there.. Voilà.. better control AND fat sound... :P
Well did you want running footage or just me building them 😏
@@MrLiamPickering Well… building tracks by hand, is kinda zen, so there’s that ( I got a couple of 1/16 tanks who’s metal tracks had to be built by hand. The first was the Tamiya Prtl.. 324 links, as I recall, each link consisting of 6 parts.. fun.. 🤣
