I went to the EC concert in Denver last week (Sep 3rd). What an epic show. All of the bands were terrific. I especially liked how the diverse crowd interacted with the bands. The best concert for me since the '80s.

Discovered these guys this year and just saw them at the Roxian Theater in McKees Rocks. First concert I've been to. Being so close to the stage spoiled me. Bots suck. I wanted the Roxbox seats, but they were sold out.. There were only 2 people in the box and all the other seats were empty. My gf couldn't stand for the whole show, so we ended up leaving before Pump It. Can't wait to see them again.
Superb Interview, thank you very much! I have gained new insights😍. As far as the general taste in musik is concerned I agree with Kevin. The Electric Callboy approach is accessible to more people. On top of that, they add a great deal of creativity. I like classical music myself and as a German techno-musik as well. Aaaaand I love Electric Callboy 😊
Agreed that ticket prices are out of control, too many silly little charges, you have to pay for parking, food/drinks. merch and as well. We are all struggling so would be nice to have a common ground and go out and support the bands that we like.
Back in the day my girlfriend and I went to a show of EC. They played four... five songs from their LP. It was a blast. The band themselves sold the merch. We hung out with them up until 5 AM. Kevin and I got pretty shitfaced. Haven't had a chance to meet Niko/Nico yet, but I am looking forward to it. Kevin! Leg die BRAVO weg! Jetzt kommt der Mosh-Part! What a great interview!
27:59 Kevin's acting like this is a massive coincidence that every venue had the same wifi password, meaning they're all owned by the same company? Their agent or manager booked a tour through the company that owns all these venues. It's not a coincidence. And venues do pay "bar fees" to bands sometimes. The band might have a deal where if they sell x number of tickets, they then get a bonus, meaning they get an extra chunk of money on top of sales. If they don't have one of these deals, they might want to talk to their agent, especially since they're in a position of selling out shows.

It was decent, Venue was horrible, a few people were a bit out of control.
