  • Ok.....6 out of 6 as I forgot to mention how to remove the Windshield and Windshield screen "without" removing the whole frame from the sidecar.
In lieu of using larger grommets as I was tired of searching locally for parts, I had large snap items gotten from Tandy Leather over 30 years ago and as I put (3) snaps on each side of the tub to secure the lower end of the Windscreen "to" the sidecar tub, I created (2) patches roughly 3 1/2 x 4 inches long.
First folded over the edge and sewed to create a soft/straight edge.
Then punched holes for the rivet holding each snap in both the Windscreen and the mating snap cover to the rectangular patch.
This would allow for removal of the Windshield and screen from the framework, leaving the frame attached to the sidecar tub.
The balance of this video indicates to disbelievers that the tub is metal and not fiberglass.
