Too bad Cody's title reign is not captivating me. Even if WWE put the title on Cody last year, it does not matter because Cody does not equal ratings.
There's been 3 shows since Cody won the title. Literally what do you want? And as a fan watching the show, why do you care about ratings? WWE ain't paying you any advertising money.

I care about ratings because if the ratings are up, that means stories are captivating and casuals are putting down the remote control. And if the casuals can stay engaged, ratings will go up, attracting more casuals through word of mouth. Why do you think Monday Night Raw attracted a record 10 million viewers in 1999? Because the stories were captivating and the matches were entertaining. Pat Patterson and Geraldo Brisco vs Mean Street Posse is still talked about since that attracted 10 million viewers. What about Mick Foley vs The Rock? Ratings skyrocketed when Foley won the WWE title on free TV. Everytime Roman Reigns appeared on TV in 2023, ratings were up. 1,000 days was a big deal because it was captivating. Triple H's bad booking and Cody Rhodes being a bore is a bad combo.
